A few small teasers/quotes for tonight - some of this has already been discussed at length, I know, so no boardroom spoilers here ...

1. One candidate claims to be ‘Happy to be here’ when they are moved from one team to the other. They're really not.

2. Richard and Vana are on the same sub-team for the second week running.

3. "It’s a nice open space for the windows to have the sun come in throughout the day and the night." Err ...

4. How not to conduct a negotiation with a potential client – respond to their request for a discount with, "What would you like?"

5. "No show flat. No floor plans. They’re just a plate of biscuits."

6. Brett gets pulled up for misleading customers again (as he did in the discount store task when he was reprimanded by Karren for misleading pricing).

Glad series 12 has been confirmed next year. Bet it will be Autumn again as they wont want to go up against the olympics Paralympics or the Euro Championship cup next year

I think they've just given up airing it in the spring
But yeah. The only problem with it airing now is that it aires between GBBO (which could be the only show better than The Apprentice) and Christmas, meaning some shows at the beginning and the end have to be a bit squashed together. Oh well!

8 candidates left 4 episodes to go, so there's one more double firing before the Interviews, judging by the tweets may be Selina as part of a double firing or she gets to the Interviews.
Ahem, although i didn't expect one candidate to resign.

If teams stay the same I expect either Gary or Brett to be fired as they are the weakest in each team

Would love for that rat faced arsehole Joseph to go though

One of you super sleuths please tell me Richard and Vana make it through next week, those two are the only candidates I care about anymore, the other 4 are cannon-fodder now.

Not a whole lot given away from the preview for next week, except it confirms that the Charlene crying clip does take place then.

Teams are definitely left as they are (minus Selina and Scott obv) with Brett and Charlene as team leaders.

Likely Charlene's team to lose (would explain the tears for sure, and they are much weaker) with either her or Gary being fired. Probably the latter

They'll make interviews alright but I can't help but feel one of them (I'm siding towards Vana) is being set up for a wonderful fall at that stage. just with the edit Richard has gotten throughout, I see him more as a constant grower, whereas Vana has been portrayed as nearly too good to be true in recent weeks

LS clearly likes Joseph, and I can see him impressing interviewers. it's just too obvious a Richard and Vana showdown now and I think we're being misled

I wouldn't be surprised if Joseph is one of the final 2.

AS likes Joseph, this is obvious, IMO AS see a lot of himself in Joseph.

I don't really agree with this interpretation. If either Richard or Vana has had a growth edit, it has been Vana? Richard has been pretty consistently great since the start, it's just that others didn't really like him because he's a smug git. Vana on the other hand, started pretty poorly and has gotten better and better as the weeks have gone on. Her edit doesn't fit the Helen/Neil/Roisin mould at all.

Agree. Was similar with Mergim. the difference being Joseph is twice the proposition he is!

From the edit, it almost looked like he sounded a little disappointed in Joseph (when he usually could not give a sh1t about most poor performances), and his "tell me why you should remain in the process" felt more like an indirect "please reassure me that you're still the main contender in the process"! I think he was trying to bring him back down to earth in a way too, for his own good.

It's hard to know what he makes of Vana, she has featured very little in the boardrooms. She hasn't been PM since week 3.

I dunno, of course I could be off but I just can't see Joseph not making the final 2. It's being blatantly edited to look like we're headed for a Richard/Vana final 2 in recent weeks and I think they're trying to throw us! I can see a Joseph 'redemption' so to speak, in the interviews.

Surely Vana's business plan would be along similar enough lines to Mark? I suppose we'll have to wait and see!

Richard was always good but he had been portrayed as a "baddie" in a sense, whereas in recent weeks he's been shown as much more likeable and an actual genuine contender.

It's all opinions though at this stage really, even one task can change perceptions. Fun to speculate though! I'd say it's a pretty nailed on final 3 though.

I'm not sure how this reflects on Vana's potential as a final two contestant, but Vana has a 'pending' website called 'VinoByVana' and her linkedin profile names her as 'Co-Founder and Marketing Manager'.

Either she's fired prior to the final, or that will be her business venture with Lord Sugar, should he choose her.

If that's the plan then I take back what i said about similarities to Mark

Just assumed she'd do something in the digital marketing/social media game!

Even though the final will already have been filmed I think Lord Sugar doesn't finally decide until a couple of days before the final programme is aired, so they film two endings, with each contestant being told they have won, so I doubt the two finalists even know if they have won yet.

There is wiggle room with this, though. Last year Mark's business was registered with Companies House in June.

"Co-Founder" implies Sugar could be in there. I also find that site interesting, we'll know by the interview stage for sure if her business plan involves wine I suppose

Does anyone know who the final 2 are? if not who do people think will be the final 2? Trying to think who could be in the final but i have no idea so I would be interested to see what other people thought?

Brett & Richard

Though could be interesting if their team loses next week (think the Charleine crying clips are a smoke screen; she is probably the only one safe for the interviews now).

Anyone have any idea what the "shock result" is? Could be hyperbole, but I'd say it is just something to do with the retailers orders or lack-there-of

Or else it could be a loss for Brett/Richard/Vana after them dominating in recent weeks. That would really be interesting!

It's always so hard to properly predict these with the current format, when we haven't seen the plans yet. Judging on performance and bookies odds it's hard to look past two of Richard, Vana and Joseph. I do think one will flop so to speak at interviews though and Brett may even make the "final 3". LS definitely likes him. If his plan is a potential runner then it could really become interesting

Haven't seen preview since Wednesday but I thought it looked like LS was pointing towards the candidate to his right with the firing. Could be a bit of misdirection though (would they just show a clip from a previous episode or is it a standard one throughout?).

If it is the case Charlene is definitely safe alright, even if she loses as PM. that would mean one of Gary and Joseph, pretty much nailed on the former.

In this episode last year LS used the plans as a basis for the last firing before interviews. he'll definitely want Joseph at interviews though

If team Brett does lose (possible "shock result" they referred to), then it would become very interesting. If he was pointing to his right it would mean Brett would be safe in this instance and one of the top two at the moment would be gone. It would be amazing if vana or Richard didn't make interviews

Charleine crying is the only clip we have to go on and I agree with Sherlock that this is a smoke screen. We know the teams and the PMs but that's pretty much it.

I hope team Brett/Vana/Richard loses for excitement purposes as otherwise it's just going to be the obvious Gary firing

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Which leads me to believe Vana was one of the Final Two & her Website is in place waiting on AS's decision who wins.

The final has already been recorded, usually it's based on the two finalists setting up their business... Website, Logo, Promotion and Launch.

There's a dude on twitter who often shows up on Vana's feed pimping that business though, and he links to it in his profile I believe. He could be the "co-founder". The business could have been "founded" years ago, they have just been waiting on investment.

The fact it's waiting to go live though does seem like a decent indicator. Still wouldn't take it as a definite though, I'm sure plenty of the candidates are now using their new found fame to launch ventures and many of them are "entrepreneurs" anyway.
