Personally I think Mergam (?) or however you spell his name will be fired in task 6 as in the intro clip it showed him saying "I proper messed up havent I" and he is in a van so its from the DIY task.

My guess he is Project Manger and loses badly. I cant see him getting much further, his edit has been non existent and when shown he is shown to be a complete idiot; going into a vegan shop with fish fingers and calling people out for not stepping up as PM when he never.

Also to note Jospeh owns a plumbing business so he should be good at the DIY task, he could fail miserable and get fired?
I think it could be a treble firing, by which I think Selina could go despite being on the winning team, and then maybe Mergim and Joseph. It would make sense, considering Selina's statement of refusal to do You're Fired. They'd struggle to have three candidates interviewed on there anyways.

Spoiler
re-reading the bit highlighted , I'm now thinking it could be a double firing from the winning team (and not one from each team)

Unless Selina was really making noises they wouldn't have known about her refusal to do YF when they fired her, so I don't think it's any indication of whether she goes in a single, a double, a triple or even a quadruple.

I think that's what I meant
"You know what Lord Sugar? You've taken the p*** out of my business and haven't even seen me on the tasks."

Maybe a few more expletives...
If this happens my dislike for her may decrease significantly

Yes, and her comments about Karren and Claude (on twitter) were probably all about being annoying after the fact (doubt she actually said something similar to them on the show itself).

Can only see him firing someone on the winning team if they have blatantly lied or ripped off someone (breaking some kind of Apprentice rule).

In any case, a double firing or triple firing is not new, so that (itself) won't be either of the two boardroom twists.

We will learn more next week probably (perhaps even the task description for week 7 will allude to it).

Ok all, so I've had a lot of time on my hands (plus I'm sad) so I've been reviewing the intro clips from the first 4 eps, and below are all the ones that I don't believe we've seen as yet:

Ep 1
Spoiler

Ep 2:
Spoiler

Eps 3 and 4 had no new intro clips.

I'm a bit surprised that Elle won't be PM during the DIY task considering she works in construction.

Interesting, I guessed that it was
Spoiler
who hugged her, but your suggestion is also plausible (especially with what happens in week 6).

Personally, I doubt the hug is from the same episode (see my post #36). I guessed the task (it related to) on the basis of those words in the background, would be odd that we indeed have such a task but the clip turns out to be from another episode altogether (or I'm psychic ).

Both the warehouse clips, the hug clip and the balloon clip (see again post #36, when you see the tasks ahead it becomes easier to match the clips to them) are the only 4 clips that I'm positive about in regard to being from beyond week 6.

Assuming this year we have 10 tasks again, we are only in the dark about one of them (which I believe to be no. 8 or no. 9).

My guess would indeed be

but only for the warehouse clips (the shouting clip probably won't air; after what we learned this week) and I don't know where the last clip you mentioned is from (could be week 6 or any week after that; which is why I am only certain of those 4 clips, but there might be other clips from beyond week 6).

Basically if Charline team lose either David or April go

If Sam team loses either Natalie or Ella are fired

Based on previews I think Sam's team will lose and possibly both Ella and Natalie are fired because both have shown to be useless so far, but if it is a single I think Natalie will be fired.

I really cant see David being fired as he has been shown to be one of the more capable ones left unless he messes up big time this week. And April, well she could be fired as well as she has been invisible since task 1, apart from her ghastly ball hair do that is seen.

In that case it's either April or Natalie we're saying bye to next week. All of April's intro clips have been seen now so it's likely she doesn't outlast David (I will be blown away if David is the next to go and I'm sure I won't be the only one). Elle may have some potential so if it's down to her and Natalie I think Natalie will go simply, she's pretty much proven herself to be useless.

I really dont think Ella has any potential to be honest, she showed she was weak last week with buying the boat. None of the women this year are great, Charline has the most potential but she is a bit of a loud mouth and too argumentative as well.

The boys definitely seem better this year. Richard, David, Scott and even Joseph look to be the winner this year

I think Elle at least has more potential than Natalie, I feel like we haven't really seen anything of her though (other than the boat obviously). Hopefully next week will be the week where it's made clear whether the boat was just a bad day or if she's useless.

Can't really fault this.

Elle is certainly a possibility (we only have the shot of her in the boardroom; either as PM, but more likely from being brought back into a final boardroom), but the episode description doesn't sound like a double firing.

Also, Elle is the only female left with a talking head from the ep. 1 intro (yes, no Charleine, Vana or Selina there!), so would be odd to lose them all by week 5.

We might know tomorrow night for certain, as you're fired should be filmed then (or at least sometime during the day).

Why though? She works in the commercial construction industry, which isn't really anything to do with DIY. It's like saying that because I drive a sports car that qualifies me to run an F1 team.

the RT review for next week at least confirms that the fingers are pointed at the losing team (so, the theory of someone on the winning team getting fired can probably be put in the bin).

Two unprecedented moves...

Could he sack someone who is not picked by the PM to be in the final three? Or sack all of the final three? There's 14 candidates left; a triple firing would leave 11, a quadruple firing 10...

Spoiler

There are enough candidates left even after a quadruple firing to get to the final with four candidates left; this would set up for a further triple firing after the interviews like last year.

As usual, a few mild teasers rather than out and out spoilers for tonight's episode:

1. One PM decides to marginalise their sub-team leader from the off - and thinks they're being ever so clever in doing so.

2. ‘I’m usually used to being on the really important team.’

3. One candidate makes the smart move of jumping the gun and making a sale (albeit a small one) at a location at which his team are focus group testing their finished book.

4. ‘It’s a different kind of rare …’

5. One candidate opens a negotiation with ‘We’re under severe time constraint’. There's nothing like letting a potential customer know you're REALLY desperate.

5 sounds like a Brett/Natalie move. 2 sounds like the type of thing Selina would say. And gotta give credit for 3 that sounds like a pretty outside-the-box idea.

1. One PM decides to marginalise their sub-team leader from the off - and thinks they're being ever so clever in doing so: Charleine I reckon. Sounds like something that a female would do more than a male.

2. ‘I’m usually used to being on the really important team.’: Selina, every day of the week.

3. One candidate makes the smart move of jumping the gun and making a sale (albeit a small one) at a location at which his team are focus group testing their finished book.: seeing as it's a he and he's done similar before with the toy boat, I'll guess Gary on this one

4. ‘It’s a different kind of rare …’: sounds a bit more like a male to me, I'd say Mergim or Joseph.

5. One candidate opens a negotiation with ‘We’re under severe time constraint’. There's nothing like letting a potential customer know you're REALLY desperate.: Bianca did this last year iirc, I can see this possibly being Brett or Richard
My guesses are above. Any clues for YF?
