But it could be firing Ella straight away and Sugar himself picking the final 3 for the boardroom; which we know is all ready Mergiam and April. He has never done that before in my know league of the show
Prediction - Ella fired straight away and Mergiam, April and one off David/Charline/Richard are forced to return to boardroom and April and Mergiam are fired
Spoiler
Quote:
Elle doesn't appear to be in the losing boardroom even though she's PM so either she's fired immediately or sent back to the house (has that clip of her carrying the rack of clothes upstairs been shown yet?). Mergim and April are definitely done, though.

No worries. Often someone in the audience leaks who the fired candidate is though, right? (Despite the fact the audience are asked politely not to.)
So with regards to the intro clips, if I'm right on the Joseph/Charleine/Selina/Gary clips:

I think I've only ever seen it leaked a few times (series 7 and 8 had a couple iirc, and series 9 once), if only we could do what the guys over on the Strictly forums do and find a spoiler mole in the audience for each week (although there looks like a lot less people at the filming of YF, even compared to last year).
So with regards to the intro clips, if I'm right on the Joseph/Charleine/Selina/Gary clips:
Spoiler
I was at the You're Hired recording for the series 9 final and there was one prat (who thought he was God's gift because he'd been on some BBC3 reality show watched by about 7 people) posted a selfie of himself with Luisa stating that she was the runner-up. Of course, it's pretty much inevitable given human nature that someone will publish a spoiler but it is a shame when that does happen. |

Of them I like Richard, Vana and Brett and find Selina and Charleine both compellingly awful. Gary's kind of a nothing (but seems competent) and even Joseph isn't as bad as some of the sales ******* that have made the end. I will be particularly glad if it turns out David isn't there because he's undeniably competent and I absolutelycan't stand him. I was convinced we'd be stuck with him for ages.

Think that this theory is (hopefully) consistent with the (new) intro clips. Not totally consistent with all the clips, as I have seen one or two boardroom clips from Vana (but those could have been from an earlier boardroom or from week 10; as we do not know who wins that task). |

The tasks 8 to 10 can be read in the BBC mediapack (press release). It's in post 35 or 36 of this thread (posted by me).
We were only missing one task and that has been revealed as task 7 today. Good predictions really, but the one for week 8 is impossible due to the new intro:
Spoiler
As for the final 2 prediction, for myself twitter holds the key there. Why would a finalist go on twitter during the show and give the papers even more to write about?? Then again, we did have Luisa in the final two years ago ![]() Would not surprise me at all if it were to be an all male final, which is kind of unique (discounting the series 8 format). |

I feel like you guys have a good idea of who will be fired when however I have this odd feeling that our finalists for this year will end up being
Spoiler
Spoiler
All I know is there's no way in hell Selina wins and it's unlikely Charleine does either imo, just think she's a bit too "emotional" for Lord Sugar, and lets personal feelings get in the way of business (as shown this week) and I feel like the interviewers will uncover this themselves, so she'll be fired in the interview stage, imo. |

Hey guys - I'm normally well into spoilers but this year I've been away from DS a bit. However last night my spoiler instincts took over and I wrote the following on my phone. It may be useful; it may not and I'm sure you guys know this already but here's what I've got:
Week 6 *Connexus (Red)* Gary Brett [PM] Scott Sam Selina Vana Versatile (Blue) *Joseph* *Richard* Mergim David Elle [PM] April *Charleine* * means safe this week by my reckoning so all of Connexus plus Richard, Charleine, and Joseph. (Vana and Elle swap teams - Brett & Elle are PMs) Connexus win their first task - maybe a cull on Versatile as LS needs to cut down numbers. Elle seems a sure bet to go (losing PM, will have lost every task to date and has no evidence of getting further) As for the rest, Joseph, Charleine and Richard are safe until some point in the future and it seems unlikely David would be fired so quickly after a great stint as PM. This leaves Mergim and April - Mergim seems a likely bet to go due to an underwhelming edit and LS's need for a gender balance (This may be Mergim's "I messed it up, didn't I?" episode), but April has had one train wreck episode and had a few good weeks utterly ignored by the edit, so either could go with Elle; maybe all 3. NB: In the Week 1 clips, lots of PMs are shown with larger teams (Richard, Sam, David, Charleine, Brett etc) ALL of these we know about as of Ep6, supporting there being a cull in this episode with teams of 5 v 5 in Week 7. Also from reading stuff in this thread - do Versatile really win and get disqualified? Long term Future Week (Either Final 9, 8 or 7) Joseph, Selina, Charleine and Gary lose a task as a team of four. Joseph is PM and seems to bring Selina back at least. Charleine appears to go into a final boardroom crying at some point in future (Could be this task) and also yells at Selina in Losers Cafe. This team is likely Versatile. Other future week (possibly the same?) Richard, Brett and Vana (maybe others) come out of a boardroom looking surprised. These three haven't been on a team together yet and are consequently pretty safe for a while. (Vana and Richard are seen with Vana popping a heart balloon in another clip) If this is the same week, we have our final 7! Probably the remains of Connexus. Other future week Gary, Charleine and Richard in a warehouse (Smell what sells?) Potential Winners Discussion I thought LS would go for a woman as 3/4 of his partners thus far have been men, but the women have been culled recently. Looking at the long term candidates, all three women that get that far have significant doubts. Selina seems to have cut ties with the show, allegedly refusing to appear on YF so she is unlikely to win. Vana seems unbelievable as a winner based on what we've seen so far and Charleine got hammered by the edit for her Week 5 PM win, especially on YF (However, recent winner Leah Totton also had a much maligned PM win and still overcame it to win) As for the men, Richard isn't getting a winners edit (though could well be a losing finalist - think Luisa), whilst Brett would be unlikely given his performance so far. Joseph would be plausible but has to overcome a future PM loss (then again, it didn't do any of the previous male business partners much damage) Gary would be the most likely based on what we've seen; shining in subtle ways, being a reliable sub-team leader and quietly progressing without gathering too much negative attention, but it likely depends on him shining as PM in what would be Week 7. Please correct me if I'm wrong with any of this. Does that fit broadly with what we know? |

These are very generic descriptions, but you also find them in one of my spoilers posts on the second page of this thread (can't find the full descriptions that fast on-line again). The warehouse clips are almost certainly from week 10, the balloon clip is from week 8. Quote:

As for the women, at least based on a potential finalist appearance, don't forget that someone like Luisa somehow managed to be in the final (she was also hated around this point in the series, and her later actions towards Jason will probably not have endeared her to many people either). |

Can't see this happening myself, the whole thing looks a train wreck based on previews Mergim also seems to make a very costly error too, so I'd say this goes along way to losing the task I'm not sure we're going to see two actual unprecedented moves though. A PM has been fired before the final BR in an earlier series(LS picked 3 for BR) and a triple firing took place last year. LS also fired someone before the final board room last year or the year before in an early episode Unless 4 are fired- I wouldn't totally rule it out |

I think Brett is a potential "grower" though, I suspect LS is taking a liking to him, he's good and no-nonsense and there's very good go in him so to speak. Seems a very hard worker and no bullsh1t with him I agree with you on Gary, I'm not sure I can recall him getting any real negative attention from anyone? I don't think I remember him in any arguments either. From what I've seen I like him, he seems like a sound guy aswell. Granted it's not a personality contest, but I'd like to see him do well! I think Joseph is being built up well though, seems competent in most regards, takes every task very seriously, gives his 100% and not afraid to tell it as it is. I don't find him at all likeable though myself I'd like Brett or Gary. |

As that might mean that the team of four seen in the boardroom could actually be from as early as week 7 (with the other team having 5 members). Assuming Selina is not swapped anymore, that boardroom scene can only be from week 7 or week 9. Mind you, that would leave a problem for You're Fired surely.......unless they interview them two at a time

![]() Although they may not have actually been PM come to think of it, but I definitely remember him firing someone and then choosing who to go back to the house himself before the final BR That said, firing the PM before final BR is still the only unprecedented thing I can think of, bar the 4 way firing. I'd imagine they'll do two interviews at a time alright on YF, hard to get more than 5 minutes on mergim's time himself anyway |

From the clip, it looked to me that it was Mergim who was project manager but not sure; think it could be a double or triple firing. April is bound to go this week. She goes around selling services at £10 an hour for three people as shown on the preview; that's the sort of thing a child does to make extra money on summer holidays. As Karen said, that's £3.33 for each person per hour. Looks like she'll contribute to another £1.87 total profit or this time, less. Serious lack of business awareness from her again.
