Inner City's Good Life (2-step reggae dancehall version)

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've been hearing a song that includes some of the vocal lines and probably a few other things from Inner City's Good Life, and have no idea what it is. It's not a remix because the vocals are newly recorded, and the beat sounds a bit 2-steppy and there is a definite reggae skank and some rapping going on.

It doesn't seem to be anything mentioned on the Good Life wikipedia page so I'm guessing it might be fairly recent. It's played in my gym, which is usually VH1/MTV type stuff so it could be a recent release.

Any ideas what it is?

Love the original..it never gets old, a real evergreen
Theres been quite a few covers and remixes over the years, its not very reggae but seeing as you heard it at the gym could it be..

Nope. And when I saw the artist I was kind of hoping it wasn't that.

This one has a definite reggae skank (that off-beat guitar chord thing) and uses the vocal hook too. I'll post it here if I ever find it.

Always loved the original so much so don't think a remix can match it

Eventually found it - Maxsta featuring Little Nikki, apparently.

Everything sounds better in the gym though....
