Sincerity: George Burns said...

“Sincerity - if you can fake that, you've got it made.”

In terms of appeal - and Strictly is as much about appeal as quality of dancing - who is faking sincerity in the hope of being appealing, and who is just appealing because their sincerity is shining through?

Anthony is appealing because his sincerity shines through.

I'm not sure who is the opposite, perhaps Helen ..?

Helen definitely not too sincere - claimed last week she'd only just realised there was a dance-off and the week before that she was a long-time fan of the show. Silly woman!

The 'sincere' that's appealing to me at the moment is Jay and Daniel. There are probably others but those are the two, to date, that I've effortlessly and unexpectedly warmed to and really want to to see what happens next with them.
