Excellent news. Just thinking the other week "Why has Enya been so quiet?"

Rushes off to pre-order...........................

I'm a big Enya fan so this has made my day! I was only recently wondering if she'll ever release another album. It's great to see she's still making music and hadn't quietly retired as I'd feared. I'll have a listen to the new release later.

It sounds like everything she has ever done. I love her. But I would LOVE to see her work with different producers. This could have come from her first album tbh.

Well, I love it. I don't usually like artists who never try anything new but I like Enya's signature sound enough to never tire of it. I fear I may be in a minority though as apparently the song is not being well received on Twitter.

This is the first album to ever hit in the age of Social media. (Where everyone hates everything)

Enya has been consistently amazing for years and years. Those calling for change would be the first to hate it and want her to go back.

They need to go elsewhere and find a new sound if they want 'somethingf different' or 'progression'

Im Quite happy with her coming along every decade and give me a soothing celtic synth hug

Ignore them. She will rightfully so sell millions again

This song is glorious. Instantly cheered me up. Its epic and haunting and emotional.

This has made me feel a little better.

While I do use social media sparingly and think it has its good side, I do hate how everything is so instant and disposable in terms of the way people respond to things. It's like people no longer give their thoughts on anything time to properly form, and opinions are always extreme whether they be positive or negative. I hate to think of Twitter as being representative of how the average person's brain now works. The media like to treat Twitter as the be all end all of insight into how the average person thinks in the modern world but I find it all a little depressing and very shallow when it comes to some things.

Then she wouldn't be Enya. That is her sound.

I was wondering what had happened to her! I hadn't heard of her for ages. She's not someone I listen to often as I find some of her songs, at least the ones I've heard, a bit New Age-y for my taste but I can appreciate she is talented. She also got an honorary degree from my university: http://www.nuigalway.ie/about-us/new...tist-enya.html

Of course it would be Enya. She can still be Enya and try new things or do something different. What's the point of remaking old work? I love her. I think she's incredibly unique, but this sounds very old. It's also not very special melodically.

She can still be Enya and do something other than that plink plink production. The growth in her first 3 albums, between Watermark, The Celts and Caribean Blue proves she can show off musical variety.

Not very impressed with this lead single. I will of course still buy the album.

She can progress without losing the essence of Enya. Yes, this is an age where everyone can broadcast their opinions, good or bad; even you.

I am looking forward to this album as i always do with an Enya album. That said, i would love to hear some Enya songs remixed as some of her material would make euphoric dance singles if done properly. I know that wont happen.

I hope she can achieve success and this can minimum go top 10 and sell 100,000 at the minimum throughout the campaign.
