Should I say at a Topshop Interview that I am inspired by Fashion Designs on Strictly

I am a massive fan of Strictly Come Dancing, and have a group interview for the new Flagship Topshop/Topman store opening in Birmingham, however the interview consists of three elements including a one-to-one interview, a group intoduction/presentation and an assessment envolving dressing someone to a specific brief? Should I say at the interview that I have a keen interest in the fashion design on the show as the store sells anything from smart fashion, quirky, design forward fashion, etc as I was watching an online clip and someone said they like people with quirky haristyles/tattoos, etc. I do not have an outragous hairstyle or tattoos but do shop at Topshop.

Yes I think it would be good for you to mention that you are inspired by the SCD costumes. Something you are passionate about in real life can come across well in interviews. Wishing you the very best of luck and hope you get the job

Hi Sarah,

If anyone at Top Shop doubts being passionate about Strictly is good training in the fashion industry I'd say this.
On SCD the wardrobe department have to work as a team to select different fabrics to dress a wide range of people of different ages and body types to a different brief every week and do it to a deadline and within budget and be creative at the same time!
That's pretty inspiring!

Good luck!
