Personally I don't like tattoos but if people want to disfigure their bodies, then that's up to them. However, I wonder what some of them will look like when their skin starts to sag and they get all wrinkled. It reminds me of the old ludo joke which older people may remember but its a bit rude to put it on here.

Tatoos are a marmite thing. Personally, they're not for me, but I couldn't give a ffaard what others do to themselves!

Daily Fail again? What a surprise. Hardly a day goes by without them printing something negative about Strictly.

Tatts don't bother me on younger people . They can be interesting and even enhance a body. But seeing them on older flabby people brings out my tatt-snobbery . Sorry etc .
Just one thing though , I don't like seeing huge tatts on dancers in ballroom routines . It just looks wrong to me and grates . Yep , cover them up for ballroom and let them run rampant in latin .

I really hate tattoos. I can understand people getting one or two, but Iwan's tattoos were awful.

In the majority of cases I don't like them but I suppose that is because I look at the Daily Mail. I must say sometimes on here I just shake my head at the generalisation.

I question the 'etiquette expert' expertise on dance if he thinks it was the tattoos that lost it for Iwan.

Silly!
It''''s clearly a typo; a reference to Audrey Tautou.

I had many a tatoo whenst a nipper.
I got them in packets,a little moisten (lick?) and off I went on holiday, the back of my hand adorned with a pale coloured wolf baying at the moon.
It faded in a few days,or washed away.

I do quite like tattoos but not a huuuge fan of them on latin and ballroom dancers. I quite like artsy ones on contemporary dancers though! I think it's to do with the clothes that they wear. Latin and ballroom clothes are pretty loud and glam look best with plain (albiet spray tanned) skin, but contemporary dancers often seem to dance in plainer clothes so the tattoo can become almost like part of their costume - like a ballroom dancers sparkly necklace.

I really don't mind them but some of them are SO tacky
Still find Sophie's tattoo during her week 2 charleston distracting. ..now
Iwan tattoos were tacky. David Beckham tattoos tacky.
Exceptions on the show are James, Aljaz, giovanni tattoos.

Urghh and caroline tattoo looked tacky as well.

In general, I don't mind them really.

I'm afraid I don't like them at all, on either Men or Women, but I guess its up to the individual if they want to disfigure themselves. Certainly for Ballroom and Latin, its a big no-no in my book.

I love tattoos or piercings or anything that allows someone to express their individuality. Dance is one form of expression, tattoos are another & I'm not going to judge the way anyone wants to express themselves or show their passions.

I don't have any, mainly as I'm too old and they weren't fashionable when I was young, but good on you if you do, I love the stories behind many of them.

Corrected your post for you, I hope that this is what you meant and you were not being disrespectful and judgemental.

Personally I have none, I also don't like pearls especially when clutched. I find they tend to stifle any sensible discussion, but who am I to judge. Pearls can be clutched if they must, I can't say I find it an attractive habit to have.
