At least he remained conscious so that's a good sign. Hope he makes a full recovery soon.

Bruce is quite healthy for a man his age. Whilst a knock to the head isn't great, at least it wasn't a break to his hip. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

He had a big show coming up for the BBC at the weekend. I wonder what they will do.

Looks like it's been pulled going from the front page- Can't be too careful at his age, although I enjoyed last year's so hopefully they get a chance to re-schedule

He's been told to have complete rest for at least a week so hopefully not too serious.

Someone is taking his place, Bruce is now at home resting sounds like he has been lucky and will fully recover

Just read about this, poor man, hope herecovers fully and quickly.

A concussiin can be tricky, a young 20 year old tennis player is still struggling with recovery, at his age it's never great news.

I must admit though I wish him well,

The headline is annoying me, Bruce Forsyth goes to hospital is more likely. I doubt that he was sent blue lights flashing.

Rushed to hospital implies an imminent danger that probably wasn't there, with the elderly the danger following an head injury is more long term.

Hope he'll be ok - a fall at his age can easily lead to more complications, but as he's in otherwise good health then hopefully he will fully recover.

I had a concussion some years ago - it was raining and I slipped and hit my head in the pavement - and I can honestly say it's a nasty business.

Wishing him all the best!

Indeed and the other pertinent question in some one of seniority if what made them fall in the first place? Could be nothing sinister and just the bad luck of tripping over something, but I expect they will want to rule out, strokes, black outs, dizziness and a load of other possible factors.

Wishing Brucie a speedy recovery.

I think they said on Breakfast that Alexander Armstrong might stand it for Brucie at the weekend as he was co-presenting anyway.

So sorry to hear about Sir Brucie's fall and him needing to be taken to hospital. Probably it was just a precaution if he's back home now so hopefully he's done no lasting damage. Hopefully he will soon be fully recovered as his Lady will be taking good care of him.

I wonder if they will mention it on Strictly this weekend? Sort of a 'Get Well Soon, Bruce!' thing?

OK hers was probably more of an impact but Natasha Richardson was lucid-seeming enough to refuse treatment initially
