However this is a dance contest, not a comedy. Anthony's shaping was much better...

Did they? Oh, how wonderful. What sweet irony.

As several others have said, Anthony was not the worst dancer. But he was certainly one of the worst, maybe because of his shoulder. I personally find the spoiler particularly fun in the first few weeks. With certain exceptions over the years, the poorer dancers usually do go out first, but - with deference to Eric Morecambe - not necessarily in the right order.

I think Anthony's shoulder may come to thank the public for voting him off so soon.

Thanks very much for the spoiler. It's a shame he's out, but it would have been interesting to see how far he could have progressed if fully fit.

I think being voted out has done Anthony a favour as I doubt that he could have realised how much an injury like he had would have been such a hindrance and possibly could have caused even more aggravation that he bargained for.

No surprise that he's gone. He seemed a nice guy but agreeing to go on the show when you have an injured arm does seem somewhat strange

He'd have been better going into the jungle

Thank you for the spoiler.

I thought they were both the weakest of the night, so the bottom two is the correct one as far as I'm concerned.

I do feel sad for Anthony, it would have been interesting to see what he could have done without an injury, but probably a good idea for him to go before he does further damage.

It's a real shame as I've loved Anthony since he appeared on BB:CH always comes across as a genuinely lovely guy, and I wish we could have seen a bit more from Oti in her first year as I think she's fab.

However his shoulder is clearly really really bad and it's probably best that he's out early and can rest and rehabilitate it.

Eta thanks for the spoiler

Thank you very much Abigail's mum for all of your hard work each week

I can't comprehend why bubbly, fun loving and fair enough Ainsley was in the dance off with that total bore and embarrassing dad type dancer Jeremy Kyle is still in the contrast

I look forward to seeing you all again next week

Another good result, although I would rather Ainsley went...I don't find the clowning around entertaining...Thanks again for the spoiler.....

Well that cha cha cha WAS a disaaaster and facial expressions only get you that far. Jeremy was at least bizarre. It was charming, I thought. It would not work for me in other dances, but in Charleston it was fine.

Definitely NO snacks before the spinny chairs

Would be brilliant if a load of us had Blackpool tickets....there'd not be many people left in here though

Ok now I know he had already hurt his shoulder and arm but was this before or during the training?. If it was before, IMO he shouldn't have taken part. An injury needs to heal first. I liked both him and Oti. Hope we do see more of her. Good luck to Anthony and hope his injuries heal. Nice guy. Did not answer back at all and took the criticism well.

I think he said that without an injury he wouldn't have time for Strictly. Now it was either sitting home and doing nothing or trying to learn something new.

Now, Jeremy Kyle - there's a thought for next year.

I must admit that I assumed that Ainsley had more of a fanbase than currently appears to be the case. His dancing so far has been pretty dire so he might struggle to avoid being in the B2 from now on.

Thanks for the info. Sorry to see him go but on balance it was the correct result. His injury was holding him back.

Thanks as always AM for spoiler, ignore the moaners. No doubt Antony was hoping the shoulder would recover quicker, but stressing it every week to struggle through another routine isn't going to help his fitness long term. Kinder to end it early than be forced to drop out later. I'm a little surprised by Aisley in DO, but as in previous years, there's a definite public sympathy vote for the bottom end that leaves the ones just above to drop through. Particularly in theme weeks, there's a lot of shoe horning routines into inappropriate costumes, music and sets. The judges criticize the pros for lack of dance content when the root cause is following the producers cock eyed idea of entertainment. Cha cha as a penguin? Of course there's little cha cha left. That judges cannot have a go in public at their employers and have a job next season is hardly a surprise.

I'm getting old and go to bed at 10 pm, but I do read for about an hour on my tablet before I settle down to sleep. No problem any other night, but on Saturday night when Strictly's on I HAVE to know the result before I can actually go to sleep otherwise it nags at me and I can't switch my brain off. So when I finish reading, it's a quick visit to DS to get the result. If the result is not posted till after 11 pm, then I'm awake until it is.

So many thanks abigailsmum for enabling me to go to sleep on Saturday nights. I'd be a washed out rag all day on Sunday through lack of sleep if it wasn't for you. Bet you've never been the cause of sending someone to sleep before.
