If we assume Jamelia came bottom in the public vote last week (or second bottom to Iwan) and the same again this week - then with her judges score she got 9 points plus one for bottom of public vote = 10 points

To avoid DDO Ainsley would have had to get equal or higher than 5 points (5th from bottom) of public vote, and Antony 6 points (at least 6th from bottom)

We can also glean that Carol came higher than 7th from bottom (public points count higher then judges points in a points tie)

i think it was the right result, anthony's shoulder injury was a hindrance and he must have been in a lot of pain, his costume last night showed just how much his injured shoulder muscle had degenerated - although oti was really clever with her choreography you could see he was stuggling

i'm surprised he agreed to do the show, if he wanted/needed to earn whilst recovering from an injury surely IACGMOOH would have suited him better - maybe he thought dancing would be better than eating kangaroo genitalia (can't say I blame him)

I'm sure you didn't, but your comment demeaned the efforts of a small group of people who strive to get the spoiler result for this thread; DS is merely the platform used to post the result and has nothing to do with their efforts. So, looking at your original post, it seemed like a pop at them.

And as for stating 'really needs to get it right this week' i really think some perspective needs to be brought into play...there are far worse things going on in the world that we see on the news, and the things we don't see....so getting the dance off wrong isn't the end of the world.

Sorry, not meaning to lecture you, but for the whole, this is the loveliest thread on DS, it's a community for some, and I hate to think comments like yours, though not maliciously intended, can be viewed as such, and could drive the decent folk away...it's happened before with AR, and I would hate that to happen again...

At least Kirsty is improving - I thought by rights it ought to have been Carol at least Ainsley is entertaining. However I don't think Anthony is a great loss to the competition.

I don't think any of the duffers will threaten the latter stages this year.

I am sure there are many more FMs who, like me, have pretty awful things going on in their lives, and this spoiler thread is something to look forward to each week. So it wasn't 100% accurate last week through absolutely no fault of Abigailsmum and the other wonderful people, without whom this thread would be nothing. And that affects my life how?

Ye Gods, people should get some reality. I love this thread, and don't want the FMs such as AM et al who do all the legwork to stop under any circumstances.

I'm glad Anthony is out because his shoulder was worrying me. A dislocation is not an injury to push too hard. It's a shame that he thought that Strictly was something you could do whilst getting over an injury! If the celebs don't have a medical before the start of training then they really should.

I agree. I was actually typing a post to that effect last night when the spoiler came through. I could never relax and watch his performance because I was constantly worrying about his shoulder !

Am sure Oti will be asked back next year. She is one of Jason Gs BTF gang - and apart from that, she is very good and deserves a return booking.
