Result...
Anthony V Ainsley
ANTHONY OUT PLEASE DO NOT post the result, or allude to it in any way, outside of this thread on DS - it leads to complaints about the spoiler being available in general, & risks the spoiler thread being closed down by forum admin

That is so unfair, not to say nasty to Abigailsmum and the other people who work so hard on this thread. I am so angry about your question. I hope other FMs are equally enraged. What are you trying to do? I guess you think you are being funny. Well believe me, you are not. You are just being absolutely pathetic. If you can't be nice, don't post on this thread!

I hope Oti comes back, she did really well with Anthony considering his limitations, I think being given someone with an injury is, in a way, worse than being given a natural duffer.

I know this is a spoiler thread and I so much want to say about the two in the DO but I'd rather not because I might get my wrists slapped. Getting a bit paranoid. Shouldn't feel that way really.
Antony was incredibly limited due to his injury and really shouldn't have been in Strictly at all . He gave it his all and Oti did a great job under very trying circumstances , but Antony needed to go . As for Ainsley , I was SO looking forward to his dance this week. I was sure he'd do fantastic , but he was so focused on that silly penguin walk and pulling funny faces that he simply forgot the routine and made a right mess of it . If you didn't mean skin colour then I apologise for misunderstanding . |

If you mean regarding skin colour then I'd say you are not correct .It's just coincidence .

No not the skin colour at all. Didn't even think about that. But I was a bit miffed that they put Anthony with Oti knowing that Anthony might not last too long on the program. Well TBH I didn't even know he was hurt. But thinking back on it I wish they had paired Oti with someone who had longevity on the programme as I thought she certainly brought a diverse aspect to professional ballroom dancing.
. I'll miss her gorgeous little face and she has been a great addition to the team . Antony is lovely too , but bad decision to book him . |

OK.. It's actually rather annoying that the producers signed up someone with an injury . They were condemning whoever he got paired with to a short run

Rumours were that they were struggling to get enough male celebs this year so could be why they gave him a chance. Shame for Oti, hopefully she will be back next year and hope she gets to do lots of pro dances in the meantime.

I am more a lurker than a poster but i felt it was necessary to say a BIG thank you to Abigailsmum and her network of moles for helping us to receive the result early every week, my laptop was broken last week so i missed all the action but from all the posts seems to me the problem was more in those who do not take time to read post properly rather than with the actual post! Please keep up the good work as we who appreciate all you do would never blame you even if there genuinely was a mistake,,,,,,,,,,btw any new animalcams to watch this series??!! xxx

Thank you for the spoiler - I'm sad at this result but perhaps for Anthony it's best that he rests his shoulder completely. I would be watching his arm the whole time and thinking "Hmm is that hurting him, is that more than is sensible?"
I think Oti is a massive asset to the Strictly team and hope we see her again - I prefer her to Miss or Mrs Clifton. |

Belated thank you for the result. Bit gutted for Anthony and Ainsley, hope the latter's confidence wasn't dented too much. Hopefully he rectified his mistakes in the DDO.
Looking forward to Tristan's reaction to FINALLY getting through without a DO!

Well, as a lurker who has been coming to this thread for the last few years every Saturday night without fail (even when I'm holiday
) to see who's gone out I too would like to give a big thank you to abigailsmum for her sterling work, not forgetting her team of 'moles'. It is all SO appreciated, never think your hard work is taken for granted. There must be many more like me who never contribute to the thread but appreciate what you're doing too. Some of us just can't bear to wait until the Sunday But it's absolutely nothing to do with wanting to look clever in front of our family when we get together on a sunday night to watch it (some of us are at work on sat night) when I amazingly keep on getting it right about who's going out this week. Oh no,I would never use the info for such immoral purposes ![]()
