Sherrie had a cancer scare shortly before entering the house.
What a stupid woman. Her comment about being the only bread winner in the family is ridiculous so what if she lost her CBB fee she could have lost a lot more than if it had turned out to be more than a cyst.
Think she was being very selfish. What about her daughter and grandchildren you only get one Mum and Nan far more precious than money any day.

I do agree but at least Sherrie herself realises that.

Damage is done, she ignored it and has admitted to doing so,sending out a very dangerous message , and totally irresponsible - IF this really was the case.
From the little I know of female family members having these things, some are prone to cysts, and they can be removed very quickly and easily , so I think it's been blown out of proportion , because i really don't believe she'd go into BB for that length of time and just keep her fingers crossed this was not anything more sinister - she could have had a doctor see her asap prior to entering the house or even during time her time in the house and had it sorted, so I am finding it hard to believe myself - and using the term 'cancer' scare is sensationalising to make a newsworthy story to keep her in the media after CBB, along with Vicky's balance issues

Perhaps when you have walked in the same shoes you would know that what you have said is totally ridiculous. Unless you have experienced something like this then how would you know? Yes, from the little you know of female members of the family. Speak to someone who has actually been there.

Stupid, stupid woman! Given how quickly this condition spreads I cannot believe she put money before her well-being! Her fee wouldn't have done her much good if the worst case scenario had happened!

I was speaking from experience from female family members actually- and I do know that cysts can be drained very easily, she's also on a tv show where a panel of WOMEN discuss all issues isn't she ! she's either incredibly naive or incredibly stupid or both- and being in public eye she has that much more responsibility and with so MUCH knowledge know about such things, l'm going for 'irresponsible' AND 'stupid' !

Absolutely, she's very aware it was a foolish and dangerous decision, but I can still respect that the shock and fear of something like that could mess with your mind. In a bid to blank the seriousness of it, you could rationalise all sorts - it's only 3 weeks, I will go when I get back and then whatever happens I'll at least have enough money if I can't work.

respect to her if she was so anxious her hair was coming out,
but that may be due to her age too , hormonal ?
I have utmost respect for any woman who ever has to go through cancer of this kind, ANY kind , but still think as it was a cyst , it was treatable, and IF she really did think it was anything more sinister , her anxiety COULD have been over very quickly had she sought help -
But cynical me , I think some of the ex HMs arn't getting as much attention as hoped and anything that can be sensationalised, whatever it is, they're doing just that - terrible as that sounds, stories make money, and why didn't this story come out immediately after leaving the house ?
Sherrie seems like a nice woman and I remember Carol McGiffin saying she lives on her own so glad she's ok at the end of the day.
