iPod question

Hey!

I'm having a little trouble with my beloved Apple product - I reformatted teh computer a couple of days ago, and had to import all of my music back into iTunes from the D drive.

However, the iPod claims it cannot find the music - as to the iPod it is new music - so I thought I could perhaps reset it using the utiltity; there is a reset button which I click, and it joyful announces that "It cannot mount the iPod"..

Any ideas how I can go back to listening to music on my ever-boring bus trips?
