NTSC DVD's In Europe - Need Help
I have a Philips DVD Player (DVP 630) which is Region Free and supports NTSC & PAL but i'm unsure if my TV supports NTSC. It's a LG Lafinion 100hz, which i recently acquired. I have family in North America and they want to send me some DVD's. Will the DVD's play correctly on my TV?
PS. In my TV manual it just mentions PAL & Secam. |

Have a look in the DVD player manual. It may support conversion from NTSC to PAL, though it might do it to PAL60 which is similar to the PAL broadcast spec but uses 60 fields per second (like NTSC) not 50. If it does that and your TV can handle PAL60 you ought to be OK.
