I normally buy my music via iTunes but decided to give Amazon music a try with added bonus of getting the disc which my wife could use in her car. Up to now this has been a big mistake. I play my MP3 version via numerous devices including laptops iPads and iPhones. Up to now I have purchased six CDs all withfree MP3 versions included. The problem is that each purchased MP3 suffers from drop out and distortion on playback. My last purchase was Tina Turners platinum collection and Amazon can't get that MP3 version to download to my devices.
I am a prime member and this problem coupled with deliveries that don't arrive the next day( five times up to now) leaves me feeling totally frustrated . They have now had two weeks to solve the problems re dropout/distortion and failing to download but keep on saying it is being looked into
Anybody else out there having the same problems

Never had problems with distortion or drop outs, but Amazon Music is littered with trick links to get you to accidentally click on, and join Prime. Its well known and there is a warning proviso on Money Saving Expert.

I used Amazon Music until last week, and now I will never use any Amazon service ever again, because at some point I clicked unintentionally on one of these links when I was buying a song. Without me knowing it, and without getting any kind of email warning me that I had joined Prime, I was enrolled at the beginning of September.

The bank account I used to buy this music was an account I use to buy many small items over the internet, and I never keep very much money in it for this very reason, so that if it is compromised I will not lose very much. I never in my wildest dreams imagined that Amazon would be such a**holes as to charge me unexpectedly £79 for a service which I did not want and tried purposely to avoid, but that exactly what they did, sending the account into an overdrawn state and giving me £40 worth of bank charges as well as the original £79.

Amazon are a load of thieving crooks in my eyes and I will never buy anything there ever again, after being a loyal customer for 6 years,

There was an article in The Daily Mail a couple of months back complaining about Amazon's sneaky methods to get their customers to sign up to Amazon Prime as well as Amazon Music. This is considered to be unworthy marketing tactics which the Trading Standards should clamp down on. Customers should have a free choice of what they want, not what Amazon think they want.

I like Amazon's services but like the other tech giants they're a ruthless bunch. I understand they will refund you if you use the online refund service. After a lot of fuss, they've kind of unofficially admitted they sometimes mislead people.
