Morrisons Milk For Farmers 23p
cody jarrett
10-10-2015
I've just bought a 4 pint carton of Morrisons new Milk For Famers where they give 23p to the farmers.
The milk costs £1.12. whereas the normal 4 pinter costs 89p, a difference of 23p. So does this mean that the farmers get NOTHING for the 89p version or are Morrisons taking a bigger profit from the dearer one?

Are they both on offer together?

I like the way Morrisons are doing this. It's almost as if they aren't at all responsible for the current situation. Bless em.

Have you got any facts to support this? Because it's a known fact that milk farmers are making a loss on their sales.

The Morrisons 89p is not the same size as Tesco/Iceland £1 milk am told that is why they can sell it for less something to do with the litres not being the same.

Most likely not.
Nor does he know anything of their life.
He's just repeating a well worn cliche.

The farmers - or the distributer at least - gets 23p on top of whatever Morrisons pays them for the regular milk.
