And Katie has ballet training also. Doesn't help her either.

Yes she claimed she hardly did any dancing in Chicago (which was a load of rubbish) and in a Daily Mail article last week she claimed she did so much dancing in Chicago that contributed to her weight loss.

It's fake and deceitful as opposed to silly.

If he had been honest in the first place then nobody would be peeved now. Not everybody knows the inside out of everybody so not too many would have researched his life.

Exactly but I expected nothing else, some people have tunnel vision not many just a few but it is pathetic imo.

DVO took some bashing, partly because she wasn't particularly likeable. Jay should be ok on that front.

He was doing street dance and hip hop in that video. Very different to the discipline of ballroom.

Are you joking? More are defending him, Caroline, Natalie and Denise got much worse, the male bias is ridiculous

I don't watch it every week, I just dip in and out and I don't know who half the people are anyway. I have just looked him up though so now I know.

Wasn't there a woman on the other year who was really experienced? Can't remember who now.

Edited ... Just read above post and I think it was Caroline Flack.

Imagine the reverse, and he didn't show much emotion or surprise. He'd be crucified on here. There have been plenty of ringers - if there weren't any we'd be watching Carols and Anthonys and going without great dances - they have to adapt to the new style and come over well to the public, too. It's not a given. As mentioned on the previous page, Denise was put on blast from very early on and rubbed people up the wrong way. Kirsty to a lesser extent.

As with anything, people are alright with it if they like the person but dislike it if they don't like the person.

As I said above, people are harsher on the females than the males, for whatever reason.

It's a bit shit really . I mean 6 years on dance alone ? That's taking the piss really . He will win , but there will be a cloud over his win on account of his intense dance training history .

This ^^^ . I totally agree .
I'm still in shock at how Jeremy has improved , he was brilliant (for him) tonight and I adore him anyway (my secret crush ) . Plus I loved Daniel totally going for his John Travolta persona , very very entertaining .

All dance experience helps, plus he's done contemporary

I am disappointed Mac, I didn't realise he had so much dance training. I am not against some training but he has had 6 years of it.

Well, he was one of two member of The Wanted who weren't known for being paticularly likeable so it depends if he shows his 'Wanted' form, but he doesn't come across as unintelligent, so yes he should be ok if he keeps up the shy and dumb act.

How I agree. Thank God for people with dance experience I say - they make the show more watchable ! Kellie, Jay and Helen were the best by a country mile. And Jeremy came next At least their Pro's are giving them proper choreography - Natalie, Giovanni and Anton didn't do that this week.

I think Len's behaviour and outburst tonight was disgusting. Not at all professional and quite nasty. He may be the head judge but his is losing my respect.

Jay's dance, wow! I also love Kellie Bright's dance.

Didn't Caroline have qualifications from a contemporary dance academy? And her showdance was purely that style. Denise danced in the west end, Kirsty had a lot of dance training and lots of good celebs have had ballet training.

Matt and Gabby were world class gymnasts, too. Swings and roundabouts.

I don't see a problem with Jay's experience.

He's a celebrity.

Who is not known for his dancing.

He's on a dancing show.

I'm here to be entertained

Some miserable gets on here, and whilst I acknowledge the music helped, Jay was fantastic.

Good to see Len bring Giovanni down to earth with a bump.

He carried on grinning but you could tell he was smarting inside.

Almost certainly been mentioned already but the marking tonight was unbelievable, and not in a good way.
