Indeed it is ... a fact which seems to be eluding some people.

Best not to worry about it though. They get upset.

No, we have a perfect right to comment here.”

But you keep bleating on about the same thing over and over. We get it. Once is enough.

I like to see two or three celebs vying for top spot - makes for a much more exciting competition.”

Whoops, by Kirsty* in my previous posts I meant Natalie Gumede*. Confused her with her Corrie character name.

Natalie had some duff dances (her rough Charleston always sticks in the head, but then it was as much the music as the dance) and didn't endear herself to the public enough to win. Jay isn't a dead cert by any means, it's very early days yet. His experience could actually count against him in later weeks.

Wow who do you think you are telling people what they can and cant say. Unbelievable.

I refer you to my previous reply.

And if you don't want to read my posts, you can put me on ignore.

I also didn't find Jay's Jive all that good or entertaining. It was nowhere near as good as the dancing in Pulp Fiction, regardless of what some of the judges claimed.

And if i remember correctly Natalie got slaughtered on here for being a 'ringer' - double standards?

That's for sure she got hammered on here every week.

Yes, she did. Hung, drawn & quartered, even.

I'm sure Jay will get an easier ride - apparently he's cute. He just looks like a pudgy faced infant to me!

Based on tonight's dances he is light years ahead It was a very average performance from her.

It will be really tough to sell this as a Harry vs. Chelsee angle, as I do think that Chelsee is a more natural dancer (and she probably didn't even come close to winning that series).

Jay is the only dancer so far who can sell both ballroom and latin dances, the rest are fighting for those other final spots.

Yes - that's all true enough. It's simply that week by week, when someone is as obviously talented - and practised - as Natalie was, it takes away the competitive edge. It doesn't bother me that much - these days I tend to support the characters - such as Mark Benton and this year Jeremy Vine.

I loved the Kara vs Matt then the following year with Harry vs Chelsee. Such great back to back series'.

Noses come in a wide array of shapes and sizes within the parameters of what can be considered normal. I've seen a lot of odd-looking noses over a long career working in surgery... and there's not a lot that's even particularly remarkable about her nose, in my experience.

I don't care either way to be honest but a 'hanging columella' is an actual thing that some people choose to get fixed.

It's got nowt to do with dancing though as far as I'm aware

I thought Kelli and Kevin, Helen and Aljaz and Jay and Aliona were great - added that level of quality.

Jeremy surprised me and it was by far his best dance. Thought he was over scored though, but liked Karen's "Get Innnn!".

Sad for Ainsley and Natalie - it was a difficult theme and music to start off with. I though Ainsley covered up the mistakes well - helped by it not looking much like any specific dance. I voted for them - wouldn't want them to go.

Daniel again did just enough for me to give him some credit. He does remember the choreography and his timing is good.

I was surprised at Jamelia's score.
A bit surprised at Kirsty's too.

Big contrast from the Katie that could dance the Jive so well. I find it hard to believe she couldn't have done a lot better at the CCC.

Don't generalise .. I am all for Jay as I was all for Caroline last year.
I couldn't care less about previous experience .. as long as they weren't actually earning a living as a dancer who cares. The actors etc have an advantage too because they can inhabit a character more easily and perform. The athletes have core strength and stamina. To say it's like Torvill & Dean competing in Dancing on Ice is just ridiculous! It's dummy throwing actually and the reason it's ramped up all of a sudden is because Jay has delivered a fantastic dance .. and so they're worried for their favourite.
The same people talk about his free arm being cr*p .. surely his dance academy sorted that out!!??!!!

Look through tonight's posts .. Jay is being slaughtered and it's only week 3. Caroline had it last year but she wasn't perceived as a threat until later in the competition.
As people have already pointed out .. nothing AT ALL was said about Jill. Why is it such a problem now?

Plus the double standards are also coming from the people who defended Natalie and DVO etc but are now laying into Jay.

Happily you are in a minority, and your sour grapes just make us love Jay even more.

Thought Jay's jive was superb tonight, but he won't ever get my vote as I much prefer to see a "journey" by someone with none or little previous dance experience. Jay's dancing is fab, but I'd much rather see Anita win the glitter all.

Indeed not. I think her nose looks just fine. It looks better than mine at any rate.

Just catching up with the final two dances.

What was the whole thing of Anita and Gleb not looking at the camera before the dance. Very annoying. Get over yourselves.

Gleb crawling over her was a cross between The Exorcist and The Ring. Weird.

I'm just catching up on tonights show. Who decided to make Brendan and Kirsty look like they've just come from a 6 year old's birthday party? The make up was bizarre.

It's not silly at all. He is obviously shy and not very confident. The first week when he was shaking I just fell in love with him but I guess you and the other haters think that was acting?
