I'm not suprised Len got annoyed with him, he's unbearably arrogant. Not likeable at all, where the hell did they get him from? What happened to the Aussie bloke who danced with Pixie Lott? In fact I'm not overly keen on Gleb either, smug, smarmy and arrogant.
Even James Jordan is preferable over these two.

Awful.

I thought it was unfair of Len to call him out like that ... seemed like he had some sort of personal vendetta towards him ; the whole thing just seemed awkward .

Yes I know the show wants him to play Vincent 2.0 but he doesn't seem to take himself seriously and I think that he comes across really well imo

hopefully he will be humbled by it and stop the arrogance

BIB I agree - it's only week 3 so Len could have issued a warning rather than coming out full pelt like that but I agree with OP I don't really like him and tbh I'm not enjoying any of the three new professionals.

However I didn't like Trent either - the Aussie guy who danced with Pixie last year.

I'm not keen on him either but Len was completely out of order there

I miss Vincent.

I think he's pretty sleazy with poor young Georgia.. he really seems the type who would split up her relationship with her boyfriend.. home-wrecker all over him.

I hate that they are trying to make him into another Vincent - he will never come close ! Giovanni didn't put in enough rumba hip / walks and it showed, they are what make the dance what it is. Giovanni was shaking his head at Bruno's comments as well and that must have angered Len.

Perhaps Callum can get of the drain and sort him out

But Len was quite aggressive towards him tonight, and as he did with Aton I'm sure he knocked a point off his original score. It pays not to upset Len

He's a good looking Italian professional dancer, of course he's going to be arrogant. The live show isn't the right place for Len to have a go, but then I've always found him to be a bit of a bully.

Agree. He's a new professional trying to make his mark and Len's attitude towards him came across as unnecessarily petty and agenda-laden.

TBF we don't know what he's like behind the scenes, maybe Len is going off that too the general vibe about this guy.

I totally agree. Len is way past his sell by date and needs to go just like Brucie. Len can't accept any disagreement and acts as if he thinks he's God. His comments were a disgrace!

I disliked Vincent originally until I realised he was acting a role, then came to love his attitude. Giovanni isn't as good, but is trying to do the same.

As to the Rhumba, I thought it was good but not brilliant. It needed Rhumba walks and a drag, but certainly didn't deserve Len's nasty comments! Probably worth 7s compared to Rachel and Vincent's 10s.

I think he is a brilliant addition to the show, some fresh blood is always good.

Len is set in his ways and was frankly out of order tonight.
Inseriousity.

I must be the only one that likes him then lol. I thought the whole arrogance thing is just an act.

That's really silly, tbh. Len has done that with nearly every dancer this show has had, markedly with Aliona and Brendan (on the week Brendan's dad had died, of all weeks)

I really think he's overrated, he's so full himself. He might have a lot of technical knowledge but is also a bully whenever he fancies it

I like Giovanni, I think he's funny. We don't know whether he has been encouraged to be another Vincent by the producers. Len was unnecessarily nasty to him, especially as he's one of the younger newer pros.

As for the rumba, I thought it was very good. A lot of celebs find it a difficult dance to get right without being too raunchy. I thought Georgia got it right. At least she has got it out of the way quite early in the competition

What did Len say, I missed the first half of the show

Georgia danced well, but it wasn't a rumba. Giovanni just didn't put in enough of the correct steps. Hence the low marks. Georgia isn't the one at fault.

i don't really know enough about giovanni yet to judge, but it didnt seem he deserved that rather personal attack, i think he was only trying to defend georgia. i thought she did a great job and their dance was very enjoyable. len is often miserable with no real cause, and this is just another example.

IMO Len is a nasty Man who thinks he is the Show the mark he gave them compared to what he gave Mr Vine was a disgrace.

It lacked so much basic rumba and Len is the judge who will have a go about that, but his tone and delivery - nasty and tiresome as ever. Grumpy guts.

I'm not a Len fan and often think he's downright nasty, but I did think Giovanni needed taking down a peg or two... the way he was stood there like he knew better than any of them, when that dance was pretty underwhelming. It wasn't rubbish but definitely needs a lot of improvement so feedback is useful! I think whether this persona is real or fake, he needs to wind it in now as its very unlikeable and is distracting from the dancing and even from his partner.

Very good point. I think he may well be playing a part as asked by the producers. Anyway, I like him a lot and hope he remains with the show long term.

I can't stand Len I'm afraid. He hates it when the audience display their disagreement with his critique and yet he's the first to jump on Craig if he says something not to his liking. Would much rather see the back of him rather than Giovanni.

At least he doesn't make speeches like Brenda and Anton do. I think he seems nice enough and I'm sure he is just playing the part he has been asked to do. I don't know my Rhumba from my elbow and generally think it's poncy. However I found the performance of Georgia and Giovanni perfectly acceptable.
