I am definitely not a fan of movie week

There are a number of ridiculous costumes that detract from and don't enhance the dancing, e.g. the penguin outfits, Peter's pirate outfit, Star Wars and Lady and The Tramp

Wish they just dropped the themes and the fancy dress

I dislike all the theme weeks

I always feel sorry for the celebs who get a bad theme that works against the style of dance, like the boxing Paso. Let's not even mention the penguins.

I love movie week - great when the "fancy dress" and the dance content match up to make great entertainment - like they did with Jay and Kellie - I thought the light sabres as dancing canes was genius. Not such a fan of halloween week - there seem to be only so many "themes" to work with and they have exhausted a lot of them. That said, I'm enjoying this series of strictly more than I've done for a long time so maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

All the "themed" weeks are grim but the worst is Halloween which I always avoid because I actually find it unwatchable.
