2a. I have a premonition that Joanne will be partnering Jay on tour. James complained that there came a point he and Ola weren't wanted, and Aliona was put with Savage. He was quite put out about it (quelle surprise...)
Aliona didn't dance with Robbie Savage on the tour, I think Katya did.

If Aliona is available, I can't see why they would break up this partnership. Surely Pasha's tour would have been organised and venues booked by the time he won with Caroline?

1) Anton may get his usual Christmas after all
2) Jay's jive is like an addiction, I may have seen it a few times since
3) I hope a kick up the backside Giovanni got from Len will make him work harder, there's a lot of potential there
4) Anthony shouldn't have entered. It's not good for his shoulder and it's not fair on Oti
5) I can't really think of anything else memorable. Oh maybe this. I could not decide who had more eyeliner on, Peter Andre or Claudia

1. Peter Andrea was an nightmare Johnny depp, what the hell was that costume? As someone said on here before which made me howl laughing, more taliban than sparrow!

2. Georgia's chest! It just looked like plastic boobs stuck on!

3. Jeremy is so endearing, loved their dance.

4. Really wanted ainslie to be an amazing penguin, sadly he wasn't but looked so sweet he must stay!

5. Jay and Aliona, a joy

Five thoughts;

1.Jay & Aliona - can't think..just feel. Woah! A-MAZE-ING.
2. Georgia & Giovanni - Undermarked and harshly judged.
3. Peter Andre - The judges finally notice that " the king is in the altogether"
4. Anita - nice dance, but what I mostly noticed about her is she looks great with short hair!
5. Loved Jeremy's Charleston ( thought it was better than K&K's ) Craig - wtf?

Had to add one. How the hell does Kirsty look so amazing even dressed as a dog!

I know the costumes for movie week are a bit crazy and the tail was a problem, but I have to say she really did look like a human version of Lady (that sounds insulting but it really isn't!)

1. Alijaz is amazing. Great foxtrot. I like that pairing a lot.
2. Liked a lot Anita's American smooth. Not 100% on the crab move though Glen is a clever choreographer as it looks to me that Anita appears to be better than she is actually. Gleb looks gorgeous without a beard and his choreography. Though the way they were gazing in to each other's eyes when the Dance was announced and the way he was caressing Anita while getting the judging made me uncomfortable.
3. Best looking male pro line up and gorgeous celeb ladies, wardrobe excellent!
4. Enjoyed Jeremy's elegant Charleston very much.
5. Jay and Aliona. Wow. (And I hate jives with passion. All of them, except this one. It was amazing!)

1. Len was right about the content of that rumba
2. Jay was A-MA-ZING
3. Anton needs help with Latin choreography (I hear that Latin specialist James Jordan isn't too busy at the moment!)
4. Peter Andre was dreadful
5. Helen was under marked - she deserved to be second with Kellie third!

1) Bruno was one of my favourite judges last series but going off him rapidly. While Craig does sometimes give blunt comments, it's often done tongue in cheek or to help contestants and rarely spitefully whereas Bruno doing unflattering comparisons and just laughing at the contestants isn't helpful.

2) The gurning in Kellie's routine and overacting was very annoying. And to think I thought Susanna and Kevin couldn't be out-gurned.

3) Some awful themes and costumes. Kirsty clearly annoyed the costume department. The singers were a bit off-key at the start of the show - normally they're quite good. Improved as it went on.

4) Pretty dire choreography by Anton. Not sure Katie was great either but that choreography didn't give much chance. Think he realised it - hope he improves it as she still has potential.

5)Jeremy is brilliant - and the reactions to the scores were brilliant.

BONUS:
6) Jay's dance was brilliant (especially that last bit) - wow. Let's hope he doesn't suffer the same fate as both Sophie and Jake have after outstanding early dances.
Aliona was gorgeous too.

7) I'm warming to Gleb. He and Anita seem to be a good partnership and the Gleb Special was memorable.
It's only really Geovanni that I'm stil not won over by of the new recruits.

1. Len may have been right but the judges apart from Darcey seem to forget this is supposed to be a light hearted dance contest.
2. Jay was just awesome. I don't care how much experience he has had I love watching him.
3. Loved Jeremy. He just makes me smile. I like Carole but she can go for me now.
4. I can't take to Kellie. Her dances don't wow me.
5. Anton let Katie down. Get someone in to help with the latin or you won't see Christmas or Blackpool for that matter.

I agree it was a bit daft to sign up when he couldn't move his shoulder, but according to what someone said on another thread they were having so much trouble signing up men this year that if he hadn't done the show Oti wouldn't have had a partner at all. I should think she would rather have been in for a couple of weeks than just hanging around with no partner like Joanne.

1. Katie's cha-cha-cha gave me Jerry Hall flashbacks. It was about the same level of content as well.
2. NEW PROS: Len v Giovanni gave me the shivers. Fully onboard with the Gleb Express now (he's funny, he does memorable choreography). Oti is a fantastic overcompensatory dancer who flings herself around with abandon (she reminds me a lot of Kristina in her first series) and her choreography's pretty good (even if Anthony's not).
3. Daniel's Tea Birds comedy VT was actually... decently written and sort of funny? END OF DAYS.
4. Jamelia and Tristan are three for three on horrible wardrobe/hair choices. Not so much Charlie's Angels as it was James and the Giant Peach.
5. I might have started speaking in tongues during the last section of Jay's jive.

I know! I think he deserves a lot of credit for that too, though, as the delivery makes or breaks it.

1.) Love Jay & Aliona, this is the first year i've really warmed to Aliona and her choreography is strong this year. I remember being so disappointed by her choreography for Harry Judds Tango and THAT AS with Matt Baker.

2.) Anita & Gleb seem consistently undermarked. Thought her Cha Cha Cha was the best this series. Also feel her Charleston was very competent and her AS surely deserved 30+

3.) Anton really needs to step up with the latin choreography, I can't help but think how Katie might have been if she was paired with Aljaz or Brendan

4.) Jamelia is the biggest disappointment this series, I keep expecting it to be a blip and she will come out and wow but she doesn't. I'm under the impression its a mixture of poor choreo and teaching from Tristan and maybe an unwillingness to take it serious as to why she seems so poor after such promise in the launch show group dance.

5.) Honestly don't get the Peter Andre love, he's such a mediocre dancer.. Kellie Helen Anita and Jay are all far superior dancers.

1. Still don't like theme weeks, the dance/theme/music foisted on the couples makes an unfair playing field.
2. Jay and Aliona were fabulous but would they have looked so great if they had had to pretend to be penguins?
3. The judges were harsh this week I thought, very low marking for most couples and down right rude at times. A bit more encouragment wouldn't hurt would it?
4. Hope Anton and Katie can come back from that disaster of a cha cha, I would like him to make it past Blackpool.
5. And it's been said many times but please stop with the infantile VT's. Is there no one in the BBC that can think of something less awful to fill the time it takes to set up for the next dance.

1. Jay and Aliona - just wow!
2. Never expected Jamelia and Kirsty to be such poor dancers
3. Gutted for Katie - not sure whether Anton's choreography was poor or he reduced the content so she could cope with it
4. Jeremy and Daniel - just joyful
5. Claudia looked great and her hair was incredibly shiny

#1 = My favourites were Anita (who has been undermarked every week so far) and Jeremy (was pleasantly surprised with those 7s)
#2 = Also pleased with Jamelia and Kirsty who both improved, hope they're not in the dance off
#3 = Think Carol and Anthony will be in the bottom 2, although think AInsley and Kirsty are also in danger
#4 = Jay was good but I prefer journey contestants, although at least he's not arrogant
#5 = Gleb is one of the rare occasions of people who look better with facial hair

1) Kellie please stop screaming, it's annoying

2) hated that new move from Gleb, and don't think she was overmarked at all her shoulders were all over the place.

3) Loved Len putting Giovanni in his place, all that head shaking was annoying.

4) not keen on theme week's

5) Jay just amazing

I'd like to add 5 more in the aftermath of the results show.

1. I'm not sure the results are 'in no particular order'. The order this evening made a lot of sense in terms of where the couples were on the leader board.

2. Georgia is growing on me. I think she handled the Len outburst well and I felt she was sincere in what she said after being saved.

3. I shall miss Anthony and Oti. I doubt Anthony appreciated how much he would need to use his wounded shoulder when signing up. Having realised he had to make the best of it as did Oti. She's very sweet.

4. Jeremy comes across as a lovely man with a very positive disposition. I hope this is authentic and not an act. May he stay for many more weeks though I fear for him with a jive ...

5. Claudia is such a babe. Love her in a gold shift dress. Right out of the 60's.

1. Loved Jay and Aliona As did everyone else
2. Ainsley and Jeremy are a joy to watch even if their dancing is a bit dad-ish
3. Gleb looked like Rudolph Valentino, did not like the crab thing it looked messy and ungainly.
4. Loved Star Wars and loved that charleston
5. Daniel O'Donnell is scary, and a bit creepy at times

1 - Double-standards judging - they all moaned at Anton for lack of content in Katie's Cha-Cha, but then 3 out of the 4 didn't mention lack of content in Georgia's Rumba

2 - Craig marked Jeremy way too low, but the others may have been a bit over the top - a 4 and 3 6s would probably have been fairer

3 - You can see Aljaz knows how to win this thing - his choreography is brilliant - he gets the balance between crowd and judge pleasing just right

4 - Katie's Cha-Cha - come on Anton, you've got a real contender this year, no need to go safe in the Latin - she can dance and doesn't need to pose whist you run around like a whirling dervish - bit disappointed in him to be honest

5 - Jay's Jive was sooooo good - methinks he may have been protesting too much about nerves and lack of dance training.....?
