This seems to have split opinion somewhat. Or maybe that's just me. Poll anyway!

Okay, I definitely posted a poll with this thread and it's not showing up. What gives?

(EDIT; Ah, complaining always works. Do you need to reply before it shows up or something?)

Neither. I'd have had him at 5 - not terrible and certainly enthusiastic, but I fail to see in him what Bruno must have done to give him the same score as Anita.

Well... neither, but certainly not Craig, so I voted "Everyone else". It was a good dance, well played, and a pleasant surprise, a 3 was ludicrous. Strangely, I thought his total mark was spot on, I just expected it to be 5, 6, 7, 6, not 3, 7, 7, 7.

(I will admit, I was fully braced for a Crazy 8, or even a Bonkers 9 from Darcey or Len).

Pretty much this!

I really enjoyed his dance tonight, so I was glad he got the 7's. His was one of my favourites this week - a bit like Ainsley last week, it made me smile and it really suited him.

5 from me too! No way was he as good as Anita! I do like him though.

I can't vote in a poll that allows for only two choices, neither of which is accurate. Jeremy's charleston was better than 3 but did not deserve 7s. The 5/6 mark was more accurate. He's demonstrating some aptitude and I enjoyed watching him. He's much better than Carol or Kirsty.

Craig was too mean with his 3, but I don't think he deserved 7's either. I would have said 5 or 6.

5, definitely not 3. Or 7. It wouldn't have killed Craig to offer some encouragement.

Any marks that keep him in the competition are the right marks.

four 6's for the fact it was so much better than last week. The one big inconsistency has happened again tonight, were Craig is in total disagreement with the other three.

The overall score was IMO correct. Three was definitely too low.

The others more than Craig - although a 7 was overdoing it.

Jeremy clearly isn't doing the tour next year.

Considering some of the lukewarm dances that were given 7 on week one ( the judges seemed to only have a 7 paddle that week ) then, yes, it deserved sevens.
Craig's 3 was ridiculous.

I loved it! So I'm happy with a 7 (yeah too high really, but hey....)

It definitely wasn't a three. He had decent content, it was recognisably the dance it was meant to me, he'd put a lot of effort into improving (and had) and there was something very charming and entertaining about it. It was actually my second favourite dance of the evening despite all his technical limitations.

I think Craig is having an "out of body experience" when he watches Jeremy dancing

My sentiments exactly.
It was also my second favourite, after Jay and Aliona.

Totally this

His overall score was right. Judges do have a difference of opinion on what they like and don't. It shouldn't result in a score of 3 and 7's though.
The 3 makes it appear Craig dislikes the person rather than the dance.

I thought that too.

7 was too high...3 was way too low...

I can see why some fans of others might resent him getting a 7 when compared to the quality of their favourites....

...but equally, if the other judges know that Craig is going to be stupidly harsh, then it's hard to object to them giving Jeremy a bump.

If Craig had given him a 5 and the others had each given him a 6..I don't think anyone would have said he was over marked (and that's only a 1 point difference in what he got).

Craig is the only judge who actually does his job. The rest are basically there for entertainment. He was spot on here, as he usually is.

Would have given 6s across the board.
