Did Sophie and Brendan get a 10 for their Charleston or all 9s?
That was early October (week 2 I think)
Frankie and Kevin got a 'Donny 10' Movie week last year.
Something went slightly wrong in that Charleston though .. there was an awkward transition from a lift if I remember correctly. It's why it would have been good to see it again later as she prob would have corrected that.
They should judge the dance and not worry about what week it is. It's as ridiculous as them giving out 10's willy nilly in the final irrespective of dancing.

It's all a question of comparative marking in order to arrange the leaderboard in a way which reflects the different standards of dancing.

By marking Kellie and Kevin with a raft of 8s before the already good dancers from previous weeks had performed, they left themselves with nowhere to go.

Peter had a shocking dance so was rightly put below Kellie, but (IMHO) Helen should have been above Kellie, and Jay was we'll ahead of the pack - he was definitely worth all 9s, but I think it was worth at least another one.

The judges should be looking at the first dance and awarding a fair Mark, and then marking the others up or down according to that benchmark....... By giving four 8s so early in proceedings they painted themselves into a corner ..... Had they given Kellie 2 x7 and 2x8 instead of the 4x8 the mark would have been fairer and given them more room for manoeuvre without pulling out the 10.

That said the top of the leaderboard would still have been

Jay
Helen
Kellie,

But without the tied mark at the top, the couple at the bottom would have had one less Mark which may have made a difference to the combined score!
