Some of the comments on here are hilarious. The way most of you have judged someone's character and personality on the basis of three 2min dances, and a few short interviews and VT segments. So that's enough time for some of you to conclude that somehow she's "deluded" and to pick out other character flaws she might have.

Just a question, have any of you actually met or spent time in her company to find these things out? No...i thought not!!

She's NOT a natural dancer, so yes she has balance issues and all of the other 'faults' some of you lovingly point out. But is three weeks really enough time to develop such an accurate picture in your minds of what a person is really like?

She's learning to dance, has no previous experience and is thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to learn something completely new, and to pick up all of the elements that go with it. She has no performance experience, and anyone who knows her knows she has no musicality or natural rhythm but surely one of the points of the show is for contestants like Kirsty to be able to have the opportunity to learn and improve? A natural fact of life, whether it's academically or even in dance is that some people are faster learners and have more of a natural aptitude than others.

A little less of the judgmental comments and critique please. She's a good person, as to are the other contestants.

This is it exactly, great post.

Time for her to go , the sooner the better.”

Or she just wanted to say hi to her kids like other celebrities have done because she knew they were watching and what does her saying hi to her kids have to do with anything?

Totally agree with all this. Anytime I've seen Kirsty on other shows she seems to have a great personality. She even said in her intro VT this year that she couldn't dance. I think people are being a little harsh to her.

Have you met any of the contestants on any of the shows you have commented on perchance

Unlike you I won't be so presumptuous and damn those that comment on a participants dancing ability (in this instance) Kirsty

Perhaps you DO know her and that would explain your chastisment and sanctiminious comments to those of us that don't know her.

Anyhoo... it's a forum and therefore we allowed to comment on each and every one of the SCD participants..as long as they don't breach the T&C's...it's all good.

I see its a Sunday afternoon so some people have nothing better to do but slag someone off with nasty bile comments trying to outdo each other on who can be the nastiest without 1 ounce of evidence to support their pathetic claims. I wish some people would have a good hard look at themselves they need to.

Imo she is not a great Dancer but after what she has gone though in the last couple of years I would think that people would have some sympathy for her but no chance of that instead it is just cheap nasty comments.

What has she done that causes these pathetic comments imo it is nothing to do with anything she has said or has done on the show but I will leave it at that

No, I haven't met other contestants, but then again I don't pass judgement on them in the way you and others do. Pretty simple really.

Not really. In other words - I can write these bitchy comments if I like because... well, I can. If I like.

And so can anyone else. If they like.

I quite like her. I don't think she's bothered by the tiniest bit of criticism but perhaps she genuinely didn't think she was as bad as they said. She was pleased with her marks last night and it was her best dance so far.

I vaguely remember seeing her on the reality show "The Games" and can't recall forming an unfavourable opinion of her.

Well said.

She hasn't ground my gears too much so far, she's just a bit well, rubbish at dancing.

Yes but it seems those who are bitchy feel like they are in some way 100% correct and cant answer a question either?

Good, but you cant deny the male bias on this thread, look at the front age all threads about women and how people dislike like. People saying oh Helen is this and Jamelia is that and Georgia accent grates on them? Where is the character and personality dissection thread on the male dancers, Jesus Katie was being called stuck up and full of herself before the live shows just because she seemed to be enjoying herself in the group dance

A twist on the Godwin theory , "Women being nasty to pretty women" , seems to crop up in any threads on female contestants in every reality show .
It (jealousy over looks) happens occasionally I'm sure , but the fact is that most agree she is a statuesque stunner , no question about that . But being gorgeous and being a crap dancer with a deluded sense of your worth can go hand in hand sometimes , and really it's just opinions on a forum and won't affect her life .

For starters do not address me as Love...and do not for one second accuse me of being bitchy because you choose not to like what I contribute. I have acknowledged Kirsty s beauty AND have asked that my comments not be taken as "jellus". You have conveniently ignored that!

If it wasn't so embarrassingly farcical.. I might actually heed what you have to say...however, risable accussations go way over my head.

She does a great job of hiding it

As for not forming opinions about the celebs (and their personalities), there are already several threads out there about the likes of Peter, Jay & Helen. Though those are more threads on the top of the leaderboard (trying to bring down celebs in favour of their own).

This thread is more about how Kirsty is not able to be a bit more realistic about her own dancing ability, which why I believe that she will be out of the competition soon (even before the likes of Jeremy and Carol for instance). People prefer it if you are honest about your dancing ability.

Don't get upset about it Andy. It's just opinions . No different in worth to opinions praising her . We are all equal on here .

Totally agree Heather, and I actually precluded my comments by commenting on Kirsty's gorgeousness and alluded to the fact that any comments I might make should not be responded with the "jellus" female retort...as you can see it hasn't worked and the old knee jerk reaction is, sadly alive and well.

Brilliantly put. I loathed Pendleton with a passion and said so, even when others are the previous message board were praising here because of her Olympic success. What the lovely wonderful Brendan has done to be lumbered once again is beyond me. I hope she goes really soon although it is sort of amusing to watch somebody so delusional about their own ability.

"Have a high sense of self-entitlement " thanks for proving my point........

Where has she ever said she is better then she thinks is though??? And disappointment with judges scores doesn't mean she thinks she deserved more it could be the fact the she is disappointed in herself as she knew she could do it a better like she said after her waltz did that never cross any ones minds?

I presume your post translates as:

'Posters must not criticise a female contestant who can't dance. In a dancing competition...'

Duh!
