Hi can someone help been trying to back up iPhone through iCloud and says the last backup could not be completed can someone help on this and what can be done

Go into iCloud settings, Storage, Manage Storage and delete any backups shown.
It should backup fine now. |

As an aside, I had reason to reset mine the other day (easiest way to reverse a derp on a game) and was mighty impressed at how well it restored. Had to do my fingerprints and Apple Pay again - understandable as that's tied to the phone's secure storage, Apple have no access to it. Had to sign into the EE app again. Other than that, everything's exactly as it was! Even my Pebble's pairing was still intact and it just carried on working.
Took a while to redownload all the apps, mind. The downloads kept getting stuck and I had to nudge it via a reboot a few times. A day later though it's all back - even the music playlist I had told it to keep offline. |

Make sure you're on the latest software and have updated. Here was a bug in iOS 9.0 that prevented back ups from completing - this has been resolved in the latest update.
