Absolutely adored Fusion Week, hope it returns.
Zoe Ball's Waltz, Tango, and Samba were all overmarked.
Artem, Pasha, Tristan... all a bit meh, physically.
I actually find Gleb incredibly attractive.
Lisa Snowdon should have won her year, Bacofoil or not (or even because of Bacofoil).
Louis Smith was overmarked in general, for everything (his Jive deserved 6s), and his Showdance was my least favourite of all time.
Ali Bastian was nowhere near as technically good in Ballroom as the judges suggested.
Chelsee, Scott, and now Jay have all produced better Jives than Jill Halfpenny.
Pamela Stephenson should have at least come 2nd, Matt Baker was terrible.
Pamela Stephenson should've gotten 10s for her week 3 Rumba.
Austin Healey finished exactly where he should have.
Chelsee Healey and Austin Healey's Pasos were both overmarked; best Paso Doble was done by Jill Halfpenny.
Mark Ramprakash's Salsa deserved 38 maximum.
Mark Ramprakash's Argentine Tango deserved 36 maximum.
Abbey Clancey's Waltz was overhyped, both times.
Rachel Stevens' Argentine Tango was ruined by the odd "let's climb on Vincent's leg" moment.
Kara Tointon's American Smooth in the final was worse than the first time, and didn't deserve 10s.
Pasha's Showdance choreography is suspect; the only good one was Caroline's, and that was stuff she already knew. Chelsee's and Kimberley's were Salsambcha night terrors.
I love both Claudia AND Tess, and hope they both stay exactly the way they are.
None of the judges are any better, or worse, or more correct, or less correct than any other, on average, hence why there's 4 of them, not 1.
The choreography in general on Strictly is less interesting than on DWTS, hence Gleb being a revelation with his showy choreography (that Cha-Cha-Cha was pure DWTS).
I neither love nor loathe ringers.
Pixie Lott had peaked, and probably wouldn't have improved any more anyway.
Sunetra Sarker would've made the final with a different pro.
Kara Tointon's Rumba was too sharp and quick for my tastes; 9/10.
None of the dances from Series 1 would've scored above 30 now.
...and so, so many more.
