When he was with Jerry Hall, which was oddly the least amount of time he's lasted in the show for a while.

And I'm scared in advance just thinking about Kirsty's Paso Doble.

Thanks Stig. I reckon I'd like to see just a straight foxtrot and quickstep from Katie and Anton this year, and see what happens. I share your trepidation at the Paso, but you never know!

Me neither. I have gone off paso but if he gets it to do I hope he gets a good piece of music. Kind of like him to channel this

She is stiff as a board in the Latin so Im interested to see how she is going to loosen up in this dance .

Great dance for Jay. Looking forward to it.

Do we know what Gleb and Anita have

I trust Dave Arch and his wonderful Orchestra . I didnt know how Telephone by Lady Gaga would work for a Tango but they made it work so Im sure it will be no different with this one

Probably good to get it out of the way. She might do a great rumba and samba a little later on.

The arrangement for telephone was taken from this

It wasn't Dave Arch's

I'm a bit disappointed in that song choice for quickstep. As I said in another thread, I much prefer more traditional tunes such as Sing Sing Sing or Get Happy. As you say, My Generation is a very stop start song, certainly not one that comes to mind when thinking of great quickstep music

My generation was recorded on 13 October 1965 so it's a 50 year anniversary.

It does make me laugh that following the "Strictly Oath" or "Strictly Commandments" (I can't remember what they called it) that got published at the start of the series, which mentioned not getting the Foxtrot and American Smooth confused, the confusion continues! First Carol changed from an American Smooth to a Foxtrot, and now Daniel's done the reverse!

All those dances and music choices are looking like the genuine competitors should shine this week .

Apart from Carol and Kirsty doing the paso . . Could be a disaaaster dahling .

Really looking forward to Anita, Helen, Kanton, Peter, Carol, Kirsty, Jeremy and Daniel for varying reasons .
