Aww poor Anthony
I was surprised he went. He had more to give. The poor guy has an injury. The judges and the public should have given him a changed. A shame for Oti too. She's so lovely Would have loved him to do a Cha Cha Cha/ Salsa to OMI's Cheerleader with Oti as a cheerleader

Very sad to lose Oti this soon. She's amazing. Anthony though was never going to go far with that injury. It's so frustrating as he did show he has rhythm and timing etc .. that lifeless arm though both distracted and hampered him. I don't know what he was thinking to enter a dancing competition when he had limited use of his arm/shoulder. Baffling.
Would of been happier to see others go though but that's usually the way. |

Port dancing, poor timing, small fan base, new SCD partner with no SCD following, it was doomed to happen.

I wished he did the show when he didn't have an injury
. He would have most likely went far.I hope Oti comes back next year

They were my favourite couple but i don't think Anthony's injury is solely to blame. He just isn't a good dancer....
He was good on that diving show (The Splash) a few years ago and was never in the bottom 2....he also had an achilles heel injury the whole time and withdrew when he couldn't stand the pain anymore. |

I honestly thought that both Jamelia and Kirsty were very likely to end up in the bottom two.
With Anthony now gone, we just didn't get to see too much of her new female pro Oti. Although, this really depends if she wishes to come back next year. I did know that there was no way that Carol, Jeremy or Daniel would be venturing there, for the time being. |

Anthony unfortunately could never give it his all due to his injury. I'm not sure Strictly was the best choice of stop gap while you were injured between boxing bouts.

He was always going to be restricted with that shoulder he'd never be able to do lifts. He probably should have been replaced with someone who wasn't injured (I'm sure they have last minute replacements for such things).
And we don't lose Oti as she's still there in the professional dances. She's lovely and a great addition. |

Anthony's dance was awful...I quite liked him but he was just not that good.

Possibly for the best he went. Get that injury sorted, Anthony.

He shouldn't have taken part to be honest, he was clearly struggling with his shoulder injury and it looked very awkward the way he kept holding his arm in the sling position. Should have got it sorted and done the show next year.

I agree, that the judges did him a favour. He was so worried about his injury, tried to use the arm as little as possible in case he hurt it even more. He should never have said yes this year. What would have happened if he wrecked his career because of a entertainment dance show?

I dont know why he went on the show. His shoulder injury clearly wasnt healed enough. He's still not the worst dancer. I reckon in a series when he was uninjured he might've got further.

Oh, Anthony - you also only had one functioning arm and looked to be protecting the poorly one even more in the dance off. Strictly is not the ideal place for shoulder rehab it seems. Lesson learnt.
I think the bottom line is that people don't like to see someone with a career threatening injury look like they are suffering purely for a bit of Saturday night fluff. |

A bit disappointed in Anthony. I hope he has been misquoted. I agree he shouldn't have been given the boxing theme.

They were a good pairing and got on very well. I haven't bothered to read the articles. I do think Anthony suffered from over-theming, but he can't expect the show to help him stay as long as possible. I hope that he is going to recover and be able to fully resume his successful boxing career, but this is looking a bit like he hoped to earn more from Strictly and is now making what he can from the papers - without maybe saying exactly how they print it. That would be understandable. |

If he was not injured he would not have time for strictly. He wasn't popular and did not have a popular partner. Injury prevented him to do better. Oti worked around his shoulder, but it was awkward.

Anthony Ogogo wasn't very happy about having to dance to Rocky on Strictly http://beta.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/stri...y-on-strictly/
The boxer says he'd rather have danced to a James Bond theme than Rocky. |

If he is hoping to get more work as a TV personality he had better stop whingeing pretty damn quick.

The producers need to take note of this. But they won't of course. |

He is a nice guy, but should not have done the show and it beats me why he thought it was a good idea.
