Mick attacked Dean on th 19th February because he raped his wife, Linda. Mick held his foot on Dean's throat; subsequently, Nancy had to use a stool and smash it on Mick's head for him to stop attacking. Mick and Nancy looked at Dean's lifeless body – which Dean looked pretty much dead. Nancy, then went to call for some help. Meanwhile, looking at Dean's body – Mick thought his plans would be over. Little did he know, that his problems were only just beginning.
Mick looked at Dean's lifeless body – and wished that Dean was dead, only for the sake of his family. Dean managed to wake up, but went to get up – but something was amiss when he did. He saw Mick staring down at the position of where he was – but was more freaked out when he saw his body out cold in front of him. It was him alright; he – or should I say Dean was dead!
Looking at his hands, Dean started to freak out. He was young, and he made one stupid mistake, that ended up with him dying. He knew raped Linda but did not want to acknowledge what he had done. When Dean saw Mick looking down at his former body, he spotted an opportunity. He had always wanted to be Mick – and what better way than to possess him. Dean thought that at least then he would be Shirley's prefect son.
Getting ready to possess Mick, Dean walked towards Mick's body until his ghostly spirit met with Mick's body. When Dean did this, he looked down at his hands. They looked different. Bigger. He went to feel his face, he had more facial hair. When he went to speak, his voice was deeper, and more mature. Rushing out of the Vic cellar, he went to look at his reflection in the mirror. Dean saw Mick's reflection looking back at him.
Realising that Nancy was going to get the police involved, he quickly rushed after her. Once he caught up with her, he told her that Dean escaped – and subsequently, Dean as Mick locked the cellar doors so no-one would discover his dead body. Dean enjoyed being under Mick's skin. The prefect body, skin and personality...the life Dean wished he had.
Lee was heading down to the cellar, and when Dean saw this, he quickly went to confront him.
“Dad, I am going into the cellar but the door is locked”, said Lee.
“Lee, ummm….I locked the doors, because of a leakage”, said Dean, in Mick's body.
“Are you sure, Dad? I mean….”, said Lee confused.
“Mick attacked me earlier….and that's why...”, said Dean. Dean immediately froze when he said this because the look on Lee's face said it all.
“What do you mean Dad? Why did you refer to yourself in the third person?” said Lee.
Dean realised the game was up. How was he going to get out of this mess? Dean thought of a clever idea. Dean decided to jump from Mick's into Lee's body.
When Mick saw round, he was confused to see Lee rather than be staring down at Dean's body.
“Son, what am I doing here. I was just...”, said Mick.
“You were explaining to me that you attacked Dean, but he left the Vic. Dad, you have got to be careful with your temper”, said Dean as Lee. Dean hoped he could fool his brother, into believing he was Lee.
“Likewise son. I should check...”, said Mick.
“No no. You said he left already. But I will double-check.”, said Dean.
“Thank you son.”, said Mick.
Mick then left to go to the front of the bar. Dean as Lee entered the cellar, and looked at his body. How was he going to get rid of his own body? Dean actually liked the thought that he could possess other bodies, and therefore did Dean's trademark smile.
Was Dean going to get rumbled? Would Nancy find out that her dad did kill Dean? Would the Carters find out that Dean could possess any one of them, at a given time?
