Moto E system update

I just had a system update notification on my Moto E ro upgrade to Android 5.1 (currently on 4.4)

There wasn't enough space available, so it said make space and then do a system update from Settings => About phone => System updates.

So I made some space, and now the system update notification has gone, and the system update menu says no updates available.

Any idea how I can get it?

If it's like my Nexus 5 and Android M, I had a similar problem. The update downloaded, didn't work when I tried to restart.. then it said no updates available.

However, the system update icon appeared by itself after an hour or so.

Its been several days now and mine still hasn't reappeared!

I wonder if it will at all now?
