HDR 2000T screen saver (clock)

I finally replaced my old Humax PVR9300T with a HDR 2000T a month or so ago and something odd started to happen

On the radio or when playback is paused a big digital clock is displayed which updates about every 5 seconds and moves about on the screen. Except my one was working OK but has now stopped. When it first appears the time is correct but it just keeps showing the same time after that and not updating

Have I accidentally changed a setting or is this a fault (or fixable fault ?)

thanks
Martin

This has been reported before on both the HDR-2000T and the HDR-FOX T2. I haven't seen a definitive cause or cure reported.

It is not permanent or terminal what ever the cause.

If you keep your HDR switched on all the time then try putting it into standby occasionally. If that does not work then power down entirely, not just to standby and then restart., as it does some clock housekeeping on a start from cold.

Thank you Luis ^

A "soft" restart had no effect but a "hard" reboot fixed the problem and everything is back as it should be regarding the screen saver
