Chocolate Pasta Ideas please

I have a packet of chocolate pasta from Carluccios. I got one of those chocolate gift boxes last christmas the pasta has been sitting in the cupboard since then.

Has anyone tried chocolate pasta?

I've found loads of recipes online for using it in a savoury dish but I want to use it in a dessert dish. Do you think it would work if I started by cooking it in milk instead of water, similar to a macaroni or rice pudding?

I need some inspiration for this one so any ideas gratefully appreciated.

I've only ever done chocolate pasta in ravioli form and just served one raviolo as part of a dessert.

If I had a bag of chocolate pasta shapes I'd probably do some kind of chocolate sauce with some fruit, raspberries or strawberries maybe.

Or some kind of Irish Cream/Baileys sauce could be good.

Thank you for replying.

I was thinking of using cherries and going for a Black Forest type of flavour, maybe make a sauce with Kirsch added. I like the idea of a Baileys based sauce, that sounds really good.

How chocolatey does chocolate pasta taste? Did you cook yours in milk rather than water?

I guess it depends how much cocoa is in it, I've had some that's been quite chocolatey and some that hasn't been so. I made my own at home. I cooked it in water when I did it, I just treated it like regular pasta.
