Strictly were filming at Jay's school today
Quote:
We were delighted to welcome former pupil and Strictly star Jay McGuiness in to school today along with his dance partner, Aliona Vilani. Jay and Aliona met students and demonstrated dance moves in preparation for Saturday's show. You can watch excerpts from their visit in the show so remember to tune in - and don't forget to vote for them!

What's wrong with this? They do it every year. Jeremy has already visited his kids school.

It will be a subtle (or not so subtle) way of facing the he is been trained full time in dancing since he was six.

What, he went to a proper school that teaches maths and literacy and stuff? According to some posters on here, he's been doing nothing but intensive dance training since he was able to walk.

Message to the BBC if you haven't noticed he has already won so no real need to find ways of making him look even more popular.
Meeting a few children, showing his human side. Isn't this the sort of stuff that politicians do? Next week will we see him donating to various charities? |

Cynical people suck the life out of everything. How the hell can you turn a school visit into something to attack him about. As the weeks go by and people see how adorable the guy is you'll look bloody stupid.

![]() Jay being a non-daddy has hijacked a whole school instead , very clever tactic there . |

Clearly these negative ninnies don't want Jay to win because he threatens their fav's. It's a shame these boards reek of bitterness . Why can't we just enjoy everyone's journey on the show.

I think it's great that Jay and others visit their old schools. There's no need for cynicism. In Jay's case it could encourage more boys to take up dancing when he makes it look cool.,
