I'm just checking my post again for any attack .
Oh is this the week for contestant's children to appear ?
Jay being a non-daddy has hijacked a whole school instead , very clever tactic there
.

Nope , no attack in there .
Look , if jay (and Strictly) chooses cynical measures like batting his baby blues, looking pretendy shocked at compliments, having the cameras on his mum in the audience every week and hi-jacking whole schools of children then I see nothing wrong in expressing that some of us can see through it and can react in similar cynical manner .
He's 25 years old for goodness sake ! He didn't just leave that school last year , OR the year before , nor even 5 years ago .Nor has he ever taught there . In fact he claims he was bullied at school for his interest in ballet . It's weird and a cynical use of children who have nothing to do with him in any way .
Sorry , but I'm just not gullible enough to fall for it .
Of course it was an attack. As was your follow up post. As was just about every other post you have made on these threads, and some threads which were not even about Jay.

In past years I used to get a bit down with the vitriol spewed against some of my favourites, but now I smile to myself thinking "They are doing well, they are probably going to go a long way in this competition so that I get to see some more wonderful dancing, and there are a bunch of people out there hating that fact, who really can't do much about it, so have to resort to spiteful posts on an Internet forum".

He goes there, he's rubbing people's nose in it, he does not go there, he's hiding his past. You can't do anything right if somebody already decided to dislike you.

I am sorry I don't know what I am supposed to be shocked about or what is news in this headline

Jay went to school well so did 98 % of the population of the U.K.
Jay went to school at the prompting of the SCD producers well so what so have Kara, Artem, Natalie, ooh claps hands does that mean the BBC think he might win.

No that's not right as Jeremy did the other week and I imagine most people including Jeremy would be shocked to the core if anyone though he could win.

I really don't understand anything to be cynical,or indignant about.

Aparently it is necessary for some

What next Jay actually breathes, shall we have a poll ?

Yeah, but he breathes in a ringer-y way. Haven't you noticed? Even at the end of that jive, his chest wasn't heaving, nor was he gasping for breath. This professional level of breathing can only be achieved by those who have had full-time breathing training from a very young age. You might even say they've lived and breathed...errr...breathing.

This is not the first time that Jay has been back to All Saints School to visit. He may have been more times but he was there in 2010 when he was hired for The Wanted. It is a normal secondary school.
If he wanted to tug at the heart strings, he could have used the fact that he is Patron of the Newark Centre for Bereaved Children, but he didn't. Before your cynicism takes over, he is apparently a very active Patron.

It will be a subtle (or not so subtle) way of facing the he is been trained full time in dancing since he was six.
Why state that as fact when it isn't true.

Up till age 11, Holy Trinity primary, Newark
11 - 16 All Saints Comp., Mansfield.
16 - 18 MADD Theatre School, Nottingham.

Apologies, marinamau. My excuse for humour fail is I've been awake since 11.30 last night.

When the Strictly bio was first quoted, it was portrayed as evidence that Jay was effectively studying dance full time - at the Charlotte Hamilton School of Dance in Newark (CHSDN).

On that basis, the 'classmates' referred to would have been classmates at the CHSDN.

If the bullies were actually Jay's classmates at All Saints then the previous interpretation of the bio looks quite wrong.

Also, quite a few years down the line, this is a good opportunity for the school to consider better ways of dealing with that kind of bullying. It's also an opportunity to show that bullies don't always win.

Faith is a wonderful thing. However, in the context of a claim that "I read an interview with person x which said...", there should be no need for faith. Citations shouldn't be all that hard to find.
I'm not making any claims, or using it as evidence for anything though. All I said was I believe it may exist.

It's an outrage!

As Heatherbell has helpfully pointed out for us gullibles, he also does professional level blinking and ....he HAS. A. MOTHER!!
I'm not completely convinced by his cynical use of children yet. He may still be an amateur at this - we'll have to wait and review the footage (though whole-school-hijacking does sound like a good professional attempt... *chews nails anxiously*). He'll have to do something really dastardly (like perform a bit of the routine and have all the children rush towards him cheering at the end) to beat Ainsley's sickening use of penguins last week. I'm still reeling from that shocker.

Just sayin' but I've heard or read or seen it somewhere that he actually had admitted that he puts his left leg in his trousers first - which is a cast iron sign of a fakey fakey faker. No amount of school visiting can get over that one <sniff>

I bet his mother isn't his mother, she's just a professional actress put in the crowds pretending to be his mother so we don't realise that Jay is in fact the result of a secret project intended to produce the perfect dancer, and his parents are Darcey Bussell, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Ashley Banjo and Isadora Duncan. In fact, the previous 12 years of SCD and the success of The Wanted have all been part of the secret plot in order to spring Jay on us now. No one actually watched the previous series or heard of the Wanted, we've had the memories implanted into our brains.

Oh no, I think I may need therapy to get over the shock! Clearly a fake!

Did you message them last week as well ? Or last year when others went to schools ?
Its really quite a common thing on Strictly you know
No. The difference we have here is someone who basically has the competition in the bag and is so popular he doesn't need to do any stunts to court further popularity. Before he was locked into Strictly did he do lots of school visits? Maybe he did, maybe he didn't.

Lots of people saying how genuine and shy he is.....In reality that might be true but it is very difficult to make such judgements purely from a television programme where contestants are constantly trying to show themselves in the best possible light.

Doesn't leave many options for the VT though, if he can't court popularity by going to visit his school and other tropes that every other contestant does.

Maybe he should just sit and flick Vs at the camera to fill the time. After all, he's got this competition in the bag...

I'm beginning to think I am either losing my marbles or all the anti-Jay posters have. I don't think I've ever read so many barking mad posts about a celebrity (and I remember the BBC boards ....)

Before this series started I was assured by some on here that Peter had it in the bag as he was the star signing and his number of twitter followers. After a showstopping dance, you reckon Jay has it in the bag. If Jeremy's still around in mid-November the board will be in meltdown because somebody's going to win it on popularity instead of the dahnce and it will be the day that Strictly died.

Plus ca change etc etc.

They could do some real training video and blow other silly VTs out the water, children, cute animals, and other fluff notwithstanding

Nothing wrong with your marbles.

I'm kind of enjoying the increasingly desperate lengths the Anti-Jay's are prepared to go to try and put people off him.

What's below 'barrel-scraping'? Is there a term for it? Well, whatever it's called, him having the outrageously cynical nerve to visit his old school for a VT defines it nicely.

Oh, I wish he would.

What will happen when we get the obligatory rest of band come to see him in training, VT? How very dare he have the more popular ones come to cheer him on.

Jay's not long posted a picture of himself and Aliona eating! This is so obviously a ploy to gain energy and strength with a view to producing another wonderful dance on Saturday.
