I'm just checking my post again for any attack .
Oh is this the week for contestant's children to appear ? Jay being a non-daddy has hijacked a whole school instead , very clever tactic there . Nope , no attack in there . Look , if jay (and Strictly) chooses cynical measures like batting his baby blues, looking pretendy shocked at compliments, having the cameras on his mum in the audience every week and hi-jacking whole schools of children then I see nothing wrong in expressing that some of us can see through it and can react in similar cynical manner . He's 25 years old for goodness sake ! He didn't just leave that school last year , OR the year before , nor even 5 years ago .Nor has he ever taught there . In fact he claims he was bullied at school for his interest in ballet . It's weird and a cynical use of children who have nothing to do with him in any way . Sorry , but I'm just not gullible enough to fall for it . In past years I used to get a bit down with the vitriol spewed against some of my favourites, but now I smile to myself thinking "They are doing well, they are probably going to go a long way in this competition so that I get to see some more wonderful dancing, and there are a bunch of people out there hating that fact, who really can't do much about it, so have to resort to spiteful posts on an Internet forum".

He goes there, he's rubbing people's nose in it, he does not go there, he's hiding his past. You can't do anything right if somebody already decided to dislike you.

I am sorry I don't know what I am supposed to be shocked about or what is news in this headline
Jay went to school well so did 98 % of the population of the U.K. Jay went to school at the prompting of the SCD producers well so what so have Kara, Artem, Natalie, ooh claps hands does that mean the BBC think he might win. No that's not right as Jeremy did the other week and I imagine most people including Jeremy would be shocked to the core if anyone though he could win. I really don't understand anything to be cynical,or indignant about. Aparently it is necessary for some What next Jay actually breathes, shall we have a poll ? |

If he wanted to tug at the heart strings, he could have used the fact that he is Patron of the Newark Centre for Bereaved Children, but he didn't. Before your cynicism takes over, he is apparently a very active Patron. http://newarkadvertiser.co.uk/articl...elps-Childrens |

It will be a subtle (or not so subtle) way of facing the he is been trained full time in dancing since he was six.

Why state that as fact when it isn't true.

When the Strictly bio was first quoted, it was portrayed as evidence that Jay was effectively studying dance full time - at the Charlotte Hamilton School of Dance in Newark (CHSDN).
On that basis, the 'classmates' referred to would have been classmates at the CHSDN. If the bullies were actually Jay's classmates at All Saints then the previous interpretation of the bio looks quite wrong. Also, quite a few years down the line, this is a good opportunity for the school to consider better ways of dealing with that kind of bullying. It's also an opportunity to show that bullies don't always win. Faith is a wonderful thing. However, in the context of a claim that "I read an interview with person x which said...", there should be no need for faith. Citations shouldn't be all that hard to find. |

Yeah, but he breathes in a ringer-y way. Haven't you noticed? Even at the end of that jive, his chest wasn't heaving, nor was he gasping for breath. This professional level of breathing can only be achieved by those who have had full-time breathing training from a very young age. You might even say they've lived and breathed...errr...breathing.
As Heatherbell has helpfully pointed out for us gullibles, he also does professional level blinking and ....he HAS. A. MOTHER!! ![]() I'm not completely convinced by his cynical use of children yet. He may still be an amateur at this - we'll have to wait and review the footage (though whole-school-hijacking does sound like a good professional attempt... *chews nails anxiously*). He'll have to do something really dastardly (like perform a bit of the routine and have all the children rush towards him cheering at the end) to beat Ainsley's sickening use of penguins last week. I'm still reeling from that shocker.

Just sayin' but I've heard or read or seen it somewhere that he actually had admitted that he puts his left leg in his trousers first - which is a cast iron sign of a fakey fakey faker. No amount of school visiting can get over that one <sniff>

Did you message them last week as well ? Or last year when others went to schools ?
Its really quite a common thing on Strictly you know Lots of people saying how genuine and shy he is.....In reality that might be true but it is very difficult to make such judgements purely from a television programme where contestants are constantly trying to show themselves in the best possible light. |

No. The difference we have here is someone who basically has the competition in the bag and is so popular he doesn't need to do any stunts to court further popularity. Before he was locked into Strictly did he do lots of school visits? Maybe he did, maybe he didn't.
Maybe he should just sit and flick Vs at the camera to fill the time. After all, he's got this competition in the bag... |

Doesn't leave many options for the VT though, if he can't court popularity by going to visit his school and other tropes that every other contestant does.

I'm beginning to think I am either losing my marbles or all the anti-Jay posters have. I don't think I've ever read so many barking mad posts about a celebrity (and I remember the BBC boards ....) |

I'm kind of enjoying the increasingly desperate lengths the Anti-Jay's are prepared to go to try and put people off him. What's below 'barrel-scraping'? Is there a term for it? Well, whatever it's called, him having the outrageously cynical nerve to visit his old school for a VT defines it nicely.

Jay's not long posted a picture of himself and Aliona eating! This is so obviously a ploy to gain energy and strength with a view to producing another wonderful dance on Saturday.
