Len certainly has his faults but he was quite right to put Giovanni in his place. It was very disrespectful of him to shake his head at Bruno and I'm glad Len picked up on it immediately. I hope Giovanni was embarrassed, hopefully it will make him think twice about his behaviour.
totally agree with you

Len isnt a bully at all - he was angry at Giovanni for being disrespectful to Bruno when Bruno was talking

How is that bullying?

Unless I have misunderstood the term "bullying"

Oh Lord, am not Len's greatest fan but without him, I have a feeling the show would lurch even further down the glitzy banal route and further away from it's ballroom roots.

Top result via Google: "use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force them to do something.".

Len is in a position of power over the pros and celebs, and was certainly intimidating in his approach to the perceived disrespect. By all means, talk to him at another point, but we don't need to see such an uncomfortable and humiliation exchange on a light entertainment show.

Not sure it's got any left

Terrible and inappropriate music and some truly dire routines, slapstick, hideous costumes and faffing about. Too many props and too many silly themes. It's panto on steroids!

Gimme dancing any day.

It seems to be a very popular trope in reality TV that if someone is a bit pissy with someone else at any time under any circumstances, it is decried as 'bullying'.

Exactly, len has no tact in what he says, the people who like him really I think like a fight, just like on fight night in big brother 5. Having aggression on a Saturday night tv programme doesn't make good tv, the rate len us going people are gonna switch off, that's not a threat, it's a promise. However qualified len is he is also selfish as well. I wouldn't miss him if he was asked to leave, he doesn't have the credibility like he used to and plays favourites constantly. CRH is more mature than len now and that really is saying it all.

All that, though my main problem is the vts..

If Len occasionally expresses exasperation, I don't really blame him for feeling it, as the show is so changed from the first few series..it is more akin to a scripted variety show really.
