I only just caught up with the second half of the season, could someone explain the 'good' Jay being another version of Zoom?

There's a potential spoiler in this but it does explain somewhat http://www.bustle.com/articles/15699...s-on-the-flash |

He's not another version of Zoom, he is Zoom but he's really Hunter Zolomon.

As for the finale, I enjoyed it, but really don't like the ending. Why did they have to go down the route of erasing all that has happened before. |

Barry annoys me, he creates more problems than fixes them.

See I didn't see that happening, but I didn't read the comics or see the original Flash series.

I just finished watching X-Men: Days of Future Past and the same thought occurred to me. They basically just relegated the first three movies (and the Wolverine ones) to "never happened" status! Not sure how to feel about that

I suspect season 3 will be similar to Flashpoint and he'll have to stop himself changing the timeline.

Still with me? Because it's about to get even trickier. When Barry, Cisco, and Harrison Wells travel to Earth-2, Hunter realizes he can't be in two places at once and travels back in time to grab a previous version of himself to take on the persona of Jay on Earth-1 — who Hunter/Zoom later kills through the breach — leaving him free to be Zoom on Earth-2.
How can Zoom take a previous version of himself into the present Earth 1 and also kill him through the portal? Doesn't that then erase himself from time e.g. killing Eddie leads to killing Reverse Flash...

Flash season 3 starts on Sky 1 on the 25th October according to Geektown website which seems to be to avoid the breaks America have in airing their shows!

Well, just slightly underwhelmed by the new episode - a lot going on, but almost too much for one episode? All rather confusing - then there we were back again but no Iris. (Poor Barry! Is that what schizos feel like, lol - so many worlds, so little time!
) I think it might have been better to spend some more time in the new world - we were only there for about 20 minutes? (But no - we had to rush back to develop the Alchemy storyline! Whoosh, whizz, wheeee - my head's already spinning nearly as fast as Barry's arms... )

I thought it was ok actually. I like the notion that even though he's 'reset' the timeline that there are still some things that have changed.
I don't follow the comics so I had to look up the Dr. Alchemy character as well. |

Enjoyed the return. Still the best of all the DC shows.

You're right, of course - I suppose I was just settling into it when everything changed again? It just seemed so short somehow...

How come Barry was running around all over the place, just to see Kid flash do his thing? He didn't seem to care who saw him zip away or hide his identity at all.
And I thought he was supposed to be clever. How did he not know Kid flash was Wally? We all did straight away

At least Barry wears a mask! )

Yep - even with his 'whizzy' face, we still knew it was him...
