The Candidates Game!
This tried-and-tested game is simple. Basically:
*Pick three candidates from the first episode (or the audition tapes if you're brave), who you'll back or who you think will/want to win. (I don't mind too much if you join after episode two, but don't leave it much later please) *The candidate gets points depending on whatever week they were eliminated on. If there is a double firing, they get an additional half, but only if they were eliminated second. This also works in the interviews (i.e - fifth place gets eleven, fourth gets eleven and a half, third gets twelve points.) Only exception is finals - runner up gets thirteen, winner gets fifteen points I've done this for the past two years in my household and it is popular as well as interesting (I've always come out on top...) If you want an example, last year, I went for Mark, Roisin and Katie (based on the videos). Katie was eliminated week ten, she gets ten points. Roisin eleven and a half, eleven points. Mark won, so he gets fifteen points. I get a total of thirty-six and a half points. The maximum you could get is forty (15+13+12) but this is very rare. The winner, on here, is the user with the highest overall score. People can choose the same candidates as each other, though I wouldn't recommend choosing exactly the same. I'm going for Jenny, Scott and Charleine. Good luck if you wish to join in! |

Ah cool. Not sure about Vana. The American accent thing seems a bit odd if you ask me.

I don't know, just does. Maybe it's because in her VA she said she was from Europe, so I was expecting her to have a kind of "broken English" quality in her accent, but instead she sounded American. Think she might be edited as something of a Luisa character.

It's very hard to pick at this stage though, doubt anyone would have seen Daniel as top 3 last year

Yeah I definitely think Jennifer = Luisa! Someone said that Vana reminded them of Lucinda. I can kind of see that tbh. A bit quirky and different.

Ok, this is isn't going well for me. It's just that something about him reminded me of Tom, who won a few years ago.
![]() Charlene is looking really strong though

Ruth, based her on being distinctive in a way that I was expecting to find offputting but I'm already slightly won round by.
Mergim, based on the fact that I already want to strangle the bastard, so I might as well earn meaningless internet points every week I have to tolerate him. Natalie, based... basically just on her face and accent. She did some decent stuff, too! Good businesser. Probably. |

Charlene, Richard and Joseph were best performers by far as they negotiated for prices and sold well; i think they will do best. I hope Mergim is going to soon; even in one episode, I found him to be the most unlikeable and annoying person I've seen on the show in all the series. A lot of them didn't show much of anything on first task so it's hard to say if it will improve or not.

Definitely Aisha and Scot, I can easily see them in the final. For the third i'll go for Ruth, not going to lie though I would of gone for Dan if you'd asked me yesterday.

I'm thinking Elle actually. She has been criticised for being a bit quiet, but when she does talk she seems to talk sense, and she defends herself quite well in the boardroom. She could be a bit of a dark horse - maybe a female version of Mark last year. He also appeared to be just a whiner in the early stages, but he knew what he was talking about and he turned out to have a lot of talent.
Other two: Charleine and Ruth. (Was considering Richard, but I think it will be a woman winner this year, seeing as they've only had one out of four since the change of format and they like to keep it reasonably even). |
