iPhone and iPad wifi problem with home hub
Dropping wifi a lot and then auto connects to bt wifi, if I toggle wifi off and on it sometimes works. If I select my home hub on the list it takes ages to connect occasionally. I've used 'forget this network' then reconnect but sometimes it says the password is wrong, leaving it a few mins then it accepts the password . I've tried other channels and it seems to be the same 😩😩 it was fine until a month ago it started this before ios9

The HH5 did not like Apple devices at 5GHz on IOS 7 and 8 but some Hub update seems to have improved it. |

I have a BT HH5 which is working great with both an iPad and an iPhone on IOS9. I have always split the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands into separate SSIDs - so if this might cause any effects I would not see them

Sometimes it's ok and won't disconnect, but I do find a lot that I have to switch wifi off and on as it's connected with full signal but won't do anything.

Is there anyway to find out the best channel to be on to avoid interference from neighbouring routers ?

only found 1 other my neighbour on Chanel 6. What is strange is that when it goes dead ( full wifi signal but no through put) I can't even log in to the hub manager because the page won't load. Again toggling wifi off and on solves this it.

Turn off smart set up in the hub, then forget network and start again.

HH3s are garbage.
Buy a HH5 or third party router (unless you have BT TV in which case stick with the HH5). |
