For the record we all get that you don't like Ben, you don't like Ben's music, you think Fleur should have won, you think the sun radiates from Fleur's posterior etc. We really get it!!”

Love it - never a truer word spoken!

agree i think its fab. with OA/ OS release it will likely take time to rise up chart. promo seems to start when the song is released

I didn't want either Ben or Fleur to win so I hope that this review doesn't make me look like a sour grapes as this is not my intention.

In my opinion the song has a good beat to it and Kelly Clarkson has the right sounding voice to pull it off, but for me Ben lacks any passion in his voice on the song on first listen, I'm a big fan of Rock Music and I was disappointed that Ben didn't really live up to his potential on the show, and I feel despite it being a reasonably catchy song that it lacks any Rock edge at all for me personally.

I honestly am not trying to start up an argument on here in case anyone thinks that I am, and I wish him the best of luck to hold off the rough competition that he'll be facing in the charts this week.

iTunes update
#20-UK
#40-Ireland

Going well so far. I imagine it'll take a few weeks to reach its peak once promo starts and radio begin playing it but can see it getting top 5.

Sounds great on first listen and the chorus is infectious.

Already #20. This is doing pretty well so far.

Absolutely fair comments and not sour grapes at all. Those comments are more aimed at those who can't stop bitching about the fact their favourite got beaten and have spent the last year slagging off the winner for no valid reason other than sulking.

Tbh, I wanted Ben to win but I haven't even listened to the song yet as, outside of the show, I have zero interest in any of the acts. I wish them all well but pop music isn't my thing at all.

I really liked Ben last year and LOVE Kelly. It's a really catchy song. Really loving it.

I really like the single it's catchy a good first single with Kelly. Can remember the chorus only after one listen.
I hope there's some more rockier sounding songs on the album like he did on x factor.

i was wrong about his debut, and not ashamed to admit it, i was expecting the floppiest flopper since leon jackson, however i like this song, and am happy for him and he will have a hit with it.
though at the moment i dont know whether its more enjoyable as its a duet with Kelly Clarkson, this is the first time there has been a huge duet for a debut x factor winner. (Flo Rida does not count with Burke as he is a rent-a-rapper)
will be interesting to see what else Ben has.

He's into the Top Ten on itunes now at #9. Doing really well for OA/OS and hopefully an XF performance still to come. Reaction to the song seems largely positive.

This song is such an earworm. Been humming it to myself all day. Hope Ben has some tv performances lined up though I expect X Factor will want the first performance on their show in a few weeks.

#7 now.

I'm surprised how much I like this given that last year I thought Ben was mostly dreadful.

I'm still not sold on his voice, tbh, but it's a catchy tune for sure.

Notice how Jeref says something, argues a bit then disappears from the thread. Just trolling

Ben and Kelly's single is really good

*rolls eyes* I thought you said she didn't have very many fans in the UK and wouldn't do anything by the single. Judging by your logic Ben's managed to achieve his current chart position all by himself.

No, that was another poster that said that. I know that she has a bog following here. That is why they teamed her up with him.

I don't think much of the song but I'm enjoying it's ascent if only for the sheer seethery oozing from some quarters.
