Aisleyne was on last nights "Britain's Flashiest Families"

Aisleyne was on last nights episode of Britain's Flashiest families on Channel 5. I was flicking through the channels before going to bed and accidently came across it. It showed her buying a watch after asking her instagram followers if she should buy it and showed her pampering her dogs. Nicola Mclean also made a brief cameo.

Here's the link to watch it on 5OD.

http://www.channel5.com/shows/britai.../episode-2-808

Documentary featuring some of the UK's most unashamedly excessive spenders. Multimillionaire Danny Lambo dubs himself 'Britain's Flashiest Playboy'. Aisleyne rose to fame through Big Brother and then invested in property. Steve and Dawn grew their business empire from a single kebab shop. Rosi spends tens of thousands on Rolexes for her children.

On Judge Rinder, Aisleyne claimed to be "cash poor".

So how does she fund the flash?

The very reason she's 'asset rich, cash poor' is the purchase of such items.

I think she must have a lot of debt.

Either way she seemed really deluded and fake. She was very different from how she was in BB7. I think the fame has gone to her head.

She did say she initially put her money into property. Assuming that's how she can afford £16,000 watches.

I never realised she was this financially well off.

Thought she came over well, and able to poke fun at herself.

Liked the interplay between her and her Nan.

I thought the assets were meant to be property.

She's a Thatcher fan property speculator, though with the way property prices tend to go up in Britain, the speculation part is minimal.

I bet she has high mortgages on her properties.

It's likely.

I'm aware how catty this will sound but nothing about her apparel suggests flash or wealth to me. It could be her personal tastes but she wears some cheap rags.

Yes, a puffa jacket is still a puffa jacket, even if it has a Prada label.

Such a shame, I used to like her. She comes across as cheap, trashy, shallow, unpleasant, dismissive and totally self obsessed. Her comments about the recession were just

Me too. The recession comment was offensive, it made me look up to the screen (I wasn't really paying attention when it was on) and realised it was Aisleyne! From what I've read on here about the stuff she writes on Twitter and also her most recent BB appearance I have gone right off her. Money can change people - in her case, for the worse.

What did she say about the recession?

Aisleyne said the recession was beneficial for her because it allowed her to buy other people's repossessed houses:

This is what Aisleyne said in an interview about Pete BB7 becoming homeless:

Quote:
“I did start a clothing line and nine months later the recession hit but I've got four properties and have been careful with my money.”

C5 also commissioned "Webcam Girls: At Your Service" featuring the miraculously virginal Danielle McMahon:

(No, it's not a link to THAT video, it's a link to the documentary )

It's best not to take everything on C5 as gospel...unless you're one of those people who think it's mostly made up

That Danny Lambo makes laugh, he's like a bad Douglas Reynholm (from the IT Crowd) lookie likie

As the other poster quoted above but for me it was her stupid comment about not knowing a recession was happening and didn't know what one was. If she was very very wealthy then I'd understand that comment but someone from her background and family and friends not having a clue about the recession? You were on Big Brother almost ten years ago love, you're not in the leagues of Bill Gates or the Facebook owners! I'd expect (and understand more) that sort of comment coming from that sort of wealth or someone like Paris Hilton.

Yeah, she's deluded. Living in a fantasy world.

She took one of her former housemates to court over a small amount of money, but she can afford to buy cartier watches...Something isn't adding up.

It does seem odd. Just over a year ago when she was charged with drink driving, she had her fine reduced as she claimed that she earns £10,000 a year, which is supplemented by £700 a time interviews, which pay her another £4,-5,000 a year.

Things must have improved a lot for her since then.

So she complained about paying a 1.5k fine, for a quite irresponsible crime. Then goes on a show and boasts about a 16k watch, hmm. pretty dodgy character really.

Hmm. From that article:

Defence lawyer Maya Lal told the court Horgan-Wallace is a ‘business woman with a portfolio of properties in north London’ and is soon to embark on a career as a comedy actress.

Seems the property portfolio was forgotten when it came to assessing the amount of her fine.

It seems she had a very lucky escape in another way too, since she was initially charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
