From EE to Three
Hi,
My contracts for both my accounts with EE are now inside their final 30 days and I am looking at transferring to Three and taking my numbers. I am happy with the number port process (obtain code from EE, fill in Three's form online and wait the change) but what happens with the remainder of my contract with EE? If I ring them and say I am leaving can I have a PAC and then Three connect me in a week, how does that work with the EE remaining days? Ta. |

When I requested my PAC from O2 they told me that requesting the PAC served as the notice period. This was a couple of years ago now, and I don't know if EE are the same - but why not ask them?

Ok, but that still allows me to transfer my numbers on day 5 for example and pay EE for a months package / handset?

OK so if:
You take out new contracts on day 1 from Three. You pay three for that month You ask EE for a PAC on the same day. This gives 30 days notice, so you also pay EE for the whole of the same month. You port out after 5 days, your EE service terminates (but they don't refund you for the remaining 25 unusable days). HTH |

That helps perfectly thank you. I expected an overlap and "doubling" of payments but wasn't sure of the process.
