All he's got to do is a few moves and twice now he's got it wrong - see 19 seconds into the following

So if he, the expert that he is, can't get that right, then how can he criticise others?

It's, "Do as I say, not do as I do."
I'm not going to knock his technical knowledge, but his performance skills seem uspect., sometimes in the "entrance" he looks as if he's "dancing under water." In fact he's beginning to look a bit geriatric and it shows, when the judges make their "Big Entrance."
I wish they'd do away with that, the judges aren't that important.

I guess we have to blame "the Rainbow Worrier," for that one, she's obviously very concerned about ratings, hence the addition of features to this programme which are annoying me.

I wish they would do away with the judges entrance. They probably have no idea as to how naff they look. Its really cringeworthy.

Because his eyes and brain still work.

The problem with the judges entrance is that it is not rehearsed. I suspect they just tell them to go on and the judges do whatever they like, vaguely trying to tie in with each other. Quite clearly it's not rehearsed because Craig ALWAYS puts a spin in because I think this is the only bit of 'dance' he can do.
I think if there was some choreography it would demonstrate that Len, Bruno and Darcey know what they are doing and one judge doesn't...

Absolutely not true as on ITT we were shown a clip of the judges practising "The Strictly" (the routine in Post 2 above) with Craig wearing a onesie and Bruno in shirt and jeans.

I suspect they know exactly how naff they look Jenifer. Or at least if they did it might explain the hint of not quite putting their all into the performances. I can't help wondering if they are cringing inside as they come on. But hey ho that's show biz!

A decent pay cheque will cover a lot of embarrassment.

He's on the podium in second place. (Jay is first and the lady who produces Strictly is third - I can't remember her name but she's deeply cynical and is quite determined to totally ruin the programme for everyone).

I always thought the judges' entrance was just a bit of good humoured messing around, even if partially rehearsed.

I have said before Len is not even walking well, if you notice he favours his right leg over the left. I think he has a problem, arthritis?.. Needs a new hip or knee.... Pulled a muscle .....

Who knows and neither should we however, I don't think we can critique his performance if physically can't do it.

He's not 20 anymore. But he still knows what is wrong and what is right.

I stand corrected. If that entrance is rehearsed then blimey...

He appears to be a mere foil for Ms Bussell in those clips anyway.

Exactly! I also doubt it's extensively rehearsed probably 2 minuets of do this then do this and is more for the sake of the crew to see what they need to do on the night.

That's also true of every single living entity on the planet.

Aye, he is 102 now. They all look like tits to be fair.

I wonder what he was like at 30 - it probably probably look very naff and old fashioned now anyway.

Poor Len is getting it more than usual this year

He's not employed as a dancer, he's a judge. There are plenty of vids of him dancing professionally.

He's not doing too badly for a seventy year old.

People are entitled to hate him too.

Len deserves every bit of criticisms he has been getting here and on strictly Facebook. His attitude last Saturday towards Giovanni was rude, unpleasant, unprofessional and didn't make for a nice viewing !!!
