I live just a little bit from the border with Northern Ireland. The other night, I was with a group of women, all big fans. Some of them had watched the show only to when he was on and switched off afterwards. Their verdict was that though people are saying fans are crossing into the north to vote, none of them had heard of anyone actually doing it, and none of them would bother.
