ITT Friday show

Does anyone else think this hour long show is a little weak?

It annoys me they seem to fast forward through Ian Waite and Karen Hardy and interviews with the contestants during the rest of the week but when Friday comes around the hour long show seems filled with fluff? I mean what's the boogie mobile thing all about?! It was so incredibly cringe worthy last week. Speak to the guests sure, hear more about them fine, but why does it have to be in such a camp manner?

If they want to do stuff like that put it in the week on the half hour shows and then have more time to listen to Ian or Karen or even Vicky the dress lady (who I find oddly fascinating to watch) or even more so the dancers. Wouldn't that make more sense?

I would like to see some of the Make-up and hairdressers on there as well, I am sure they could say and show interesting things about 'doing the contestants up'..........

I think the weekday shows become less rushed as contestants drop out. At the moment they have to squeeze 13 couples in, but that will reduce. Then I think they have time for more interesting stuff. Didn't we see shoes being made one year? That sort of thing.

I had the idea that Joanne and Robin would always be on the panel, and Joanne would be doing interviews with the couples in training that would be shown on ITT. Did I just dream that up?

ITT has gone downhill since Claudia left and why do they hardly ever have the judges on anymore?

The show reeks of BBC cut backs.

Yeah........

That is a good suggestion, why not make Joanne the person who goes around backstage at the Elstree set. That would be a lot better than using guest presenters.

I remember when Strictly was still at Television Centre that they were able to dedicate the last 15 mins on the Friday show by talking to one or two of the celebrities and maybe also seeing a sneak peek of a performance in rehearsal. In a way, it is a shame that Zoe herself is unable to go around to the studios at Elstree.

Another thing I want to make is why are Helen and Alijaz's appearances so far have only been on Friday's? Could it be, it is the most convenient day of the week for them, considering her commitment as Trixie on Call The Midwife.

there are so many things the COULD do on ITT but dont

maybe not in the half hour show during the week but certainly in the hour long show on a Friday

I dont care about seeing Biggins drive around Elstree in a golf cart trying to interview Jamelia

I dont care about Zoe pressing a button on a juke box and revealing a song and a couple - its on the website site for crying out loud!

Ditch the ridiculous segments like the child judges - I dont care and it makes me cringe!

Instead I would like to see MORE REHEARSAL FOOTAGE!!!!! Behind the scenes at the live show on saturday, pro rehearsals, footage from the rehearsals the pros do in august

I would love to see more of Vicky Gill and her amazing team of dress makers, the makeup people, the band, the singers

maybe a day in the life of a runner on Strictly

Some good points. I wonder if they still film the training - or film as much as they used to? It seems ridiculous to waste all that footage, the camera persons' time, etc., and then throw it in the bin.

But if they decided to just film everyone for a little while each week, I imagine it would save a LOT of money - one film crew per couple every day - with BBC desperate to save money and under attack for even having a "frivolous" show like Strictly in the first place. I'm pretty sure that's how it was done - but I'm not so sure it's done that way now.

It's the only excuse that makes sense. Then that camera crew could just show up for each couple to do those asinine scripted comedy bits and no editor(s) would have to pore over hours of film looking for good moments to show - or at least, they wouldn't have to do as much of it - just a bit for Ian's segment on ITT.

I had the same dream Admittedly I've missed a few ITT here and there but I've never saw Joanne or Robin so far.

Whew! Thought I was going crazy. It seems like they announced that Joanne would have a "new role": the ITT gig. And she was on the sofa once with Zoe doing one interview, in a Baby Jane Hudson outfit, and then almost nothing since

I think Robin did an A to Z segment or something like that. Once.

It's so bad that I don't even bother watching the Friday show anymore. Thankfully, my favorites haven't been on a Friday yet. When that will happen, I'll just record it and fast forward to their interview.

I'm really miffed when they have minging spectators blocking my view of ladies' legs on the Friday show.
That is all.

The way Joanne has been treated is ridiculous... she's hardly doing anything on ITT, and when she does its usually crap (not her fault, just the stuff she's being given is naff filler!). There's really no need to have guest celebs interviewing people, when Joanne or even Zoe could do it... clear case of too many cooks!

I miss Claudia's interviews...

Gavin Henson: I've had a couple of acting lessons this week so hopefully I'll be able to pull it off:
Katja: Show your devil's face.
Gavin: <grits teeth a bit>
Claudia: Oh wow (:-/) . Did you pay for the lessons..

Would love it if the production team of ITT to treat us less like kids and more like grown ups. Their so patronising it's unreal.

A lot of great suggestions here.

I agree with the 'kid judges' section. I mean why? Cutesy, yes, Blurghh!! Definitely. Are they trying this to get kids to watch the show on Saturday maybe as ITT is tea time fun perhaps, I don't know. But they do seem to make stuff up just to fill up the hour.

Give us more pro sections, more interview time, more Ian Waite maybe or Karen Hardy, or Vicky Gill. The celeb panel on Fridays I don't mind to much as they usually have at least one person out of the three who knows what they are talking about.

One thing I do hate which is new is the live audience. Why the hell did they think it would be a good idea to have a live audience getting in the way and why does the camera keep flashing to their reactions? Do we care that one of the ladies there has a crush on a male pro? No, I don't think so.

God, no more Vicky Gill please. The woman laughs like a drain and is already getting too much airtime. As for Ian Waite his over camped up performances...jeez!

More backstage chats and gossip with the contestants - preferably with Joanne

More interviews with lighting, sound, etc. Liked the interview with the director, but could have been a bit longer.

Know Dave Arch is shy, but what about the rest of the band as well as the singers?

Get the Celebrity or Pro to demonstrate more - like Gleb and Jay have - but plan it so there isn't messy camera work - could be in all ITT, not just this one as the celebs get better as the weeks go on

Like questions from viewers as make a bit of variation from Zoe's standard questions - should be one or two in every interview.

Have to be careful or she could end up sounding like Corbyn!
