Safe to say Alesha is looking well and amazing on ITT tonight. Absolutely stunning and her partner is a very lucky guy. Wish she never left the SCD panel to be honest as she was part of the highest ratings SCD of season 8.

She may be stunning to look at, but she didn't know what she was talking about with her critique of Ballroom & Latin. She may have been a contestant but that certainly does not make you an overnight expert, or qualified to judge.

But,,,but,,,,,she didn't beat-up half as many peeps as nasty ol' Len did.

Not that I agree that Darcy should be on the panel, as she shouldn't in my opinion, but at least she is a trained dancer and will know about many aspects of dance even though she doesn't know the technicalities of ballroom/latin
She was on The One Show last week, I thought Cowell did not like his people appearing on too many BBC shows and especially ones associated with rival programmes to his ones.
Also, do Bruno, Craig or Darcey have any experience with ballroom and Latin apart from Strictly? I would have thought Alesha would know more than them having been instructed by professionals then performing routines.
Alesha attended a dance school when she was younger (not another ringer attack, just illustrating a point), and worked as the choreographer during her time in Mis-Teeq. I think she's entitled to comment on technique.

Realistically how much could she have learned just learning her routines for SCD? Most of us have spent years and years learning, so I know with absolute certainty that she would not amassed much knowledge. Nowhere enough to be able to judge technical matters.I very much doubt she would be able to name recognised groups. Its not her fault she was asked...but in my view she should not have been.

It was Jay Hunts fault that she got asked, it was for diversity quotas reasons why Alesha was picked.

Well, most of her routines were filled with basics, and she executed her moves well.
Add that to the dance experience I mentioned and I'd certainly regard her as a better source of ballroom/latin knowledge than a ballet dancer, a west-end performer and a whatever-the-heck-Bruno-is!
