Better to ignore them and just get on with the training. It seems to be in the very papers that have probably been stirring up rumours.

Though, as people have suggested, it is quite possible that the papers have made the whole thing up and she has not spoken to them.

Not getting involved in any forum fighting. I don't know if Aliona has spoken to any newspapers BUT as a viewer I have to say that if its 'just dancing' then both Aliona & Jay need to stop all the touchy feely stuff. I know all the couples embrace & touch but Jay & Aliona are taking it too far. Jay nuzzles in her neck at every opportunity & I find it unnecessary. My opinion is one or a little bit of all the following.
1. Jay is incredibly nervous and lacks self esteem which requires constant reassurance.
2. Jay is acting being incredibly nervous & lacking in self esteem in order to play to the audience
3. Aliona is happy for us to think she & Jay are in love because it gets column inches & that means interest by certain viewers & could mean she becomes the first pro to win twice.

Whatever the truth I wish they would keep their hands off each other & concentrate on dancing with friendship & affection of course. His little boy lost routine might be genuine for all I know but it's sure going to grate by Christmas.

This entire "affair" thing is really irritating the nerves out of me!!

When Jay started, he couldn't speak for being so nervous, he looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights. He is young but not an immature young man, he knew what he was signing up for, the glitz, glamour and all the very close personal space being shared with your dance partner, the sexiness of the dances, the costumes, the whole great big fairytale that is Strictly.

Tess jumped on his nervousness, and held his hand for the first couple of weeks "you're shaking......" Actually, she holds the hand of every contestant as they stand before the judges, and she no longer speaks to him in terms of his nerves.

He seems a really nice young man, with a good family support, who is enjoying being caught up in the best TV competition of the year! All the couples hug, whisper, wrap their arms around each other. He is tall, he stoops to hug Aliona. I don't see him "nuzzle" her neck other than hug her and place his head down to rest on her shoulder when he hugs her. Similarly to how my big 6'4" brother does to me his little 5'1" Sister!!

Aliona is, I think, sparking the fuel here. On Saturday she was much worse than the previous week. She kept mauling at him, stroking his face, when they waited for the leaderboard results at the end of Saturday's show, he had both his hands on the chair....she grabbed his hand. I don't know why she is doing it, but her behaviour from last to this week was significantly different. It was actually quite nauseating, but I didn't see him respond to her.

All I wish is that she would step back, be his PROFESSIONAL in every sense of the word Dance Partner. Lead him to Victory..................and then let them do whatever they chose to do, but leave Strictly out of it, and concentrate on smashing Peter Andre out of the runnings

No she would just be in the corner doing that weird thing she does with her hips in her last two latin dances.

Also Jeremy and Kirsty were hugging each other for the past two weeks.

This article (true or not) is about things that happened last week. The picture (true) shows that we were right about the weekend. What are people going to say now Jay was upset about coming for the function and Aliona was comforting???. As for people saying what about the husband....? Obviously he is not blind and had seen things and confronted her. if you take part in reality show, then the viewers have the right to their views on things.

The Picture of them on the Pavement is the thing that looks bad imo.

Looks to me like she was cold, and he gave her his jacket, and was trying to keep her warm.

Fwiw, here's my take on it -

1. They are very physically attracted to each other.
2. Jay is single and Aliona is married.
3. Jay is not an inexperienced little boy, he is a 25 year old man who was in a world famous boy band. He's had no end of girls throwing themselves at him, no doubt. He is to some extent allowing himself to be led by Aliona in terms of how physically close they are, partly because he likes it - why wouldn't he? - and partly because he does find it helpful and reassuring, but will draw a line at anything that looks like infidelity.
4. As for Aliona - I do feel she is playing a game to some extent. I won't speculate on why. However naturally tactile she may be, she is an intelligent woman and has been in the UK long enough not to be naive about the effect this is having on her husband, her reputation and the viewing public.
5. I think Jay may already be finding this situation more uncomfortable than fun now, and may start being more proactive at keeping things within bounds. We will see.

Personally I hope this doesn't spoil their chances of winning. In general I think the public hates relationships on Strictly where one or both parties are already married or in a relationship, so even the appearance of such can cause a serious lack of support. Hopefully the novelty will wear off soon for at least one of them.

From what we've seen of Aliona in the past, from how they're acting there is nothing untowards going on in my opinion - she's not treating him any differently than she treated Matt, Harry or Tristan so the pearl clutching about what her husband must be thinking and the tab trawling all seems a bit desperate, but who knows - maybe I'm naive and they will be proven right.

.... and have you read those articles and what they are based on? I have and they are based on the original article in the Sun from an "insider", There is not a single quote from Aliona or Jay or Vincent. All of them are he said/she said, or ""an insider" or "reportedly" etc

The Express even states as such

"..but is said to be "stressed" over the constant speculation."

The Sun's article is based on "A source close to the dancer told The Sun last night"

The Sun is renown for this kind of guttersnipe reporting and more fool anyone who actually believes it.

Gosh, you might even think that one of the other contestants has asked their PR company to throw dirt at the main competition (this, Helen being a bitch) by supplying a series of so-called insider scoops and "a source says"! Especially if it detracted from their own recent unfortunate front page exposure
