I see no reason to think there is more to their partnership than the others.
Aliona married last year, some minds are comfy in the gutter I suppose.

She was nibbling his neck at one point. Not what I'd call maternal, really.
Maybe if your mother is a vampire

This! ^^^^

There are some very grubby minds around. You see things that simply do not exist. He's a shy kid who is devastated at getting something wrong. She is just trying to reassure him.

For heavens sake, get a grip!
He's 25 - not 12.

At 25 a significant number of people are parents themselves or are holding down responsible careers. Some are managing to do both...

Aliona is just trying to support him, he'd just made mistakes. I think they both must have been gutted, they've probably worked very hard on that routine all week.

When you say shy do you mean he makes her put the light out first.

I'm commenting on what she is putting on full display.
Maybe start a poll about it, in order to fully canvass opinion across the board?

I think she is just very tactile, perhaps a bit uncomfortably so but it's innocent enough...I assume!!

Comforting him you mean ?
No I didn't meant comforting. I've seen Pasha "comforting" Carol, Ola Iwan, Anton Katie, Natalie Ainsley etc....and I've seen not a shread of neck-nibbling going on between ANY of them.

What makes Jay & Aliona so exceptional to this rule...???

Lol - this is Flavia and Matt di Angelo all over again (people said that was nonsense for weeks too)! They may not be a couple but the body language is far from 'maternal' unless you come from a very dysfunctional family!

So once you hit 25 you shouldn't be devastated if you get something wrong? I've got news for you. I'm in my 50s with 4 children and I still get upset if I get something wrong.

jiroos I think you've hit the nail on the head, they are putting on a display. It's all part of their game plan, just like Jay appearing to be nervous in the first show. Even though he knew then what we know now, that the dance training he's had would take him a long way. I wouldn't be surprised if tonight's mistakes were deliberate in order to again lower expectation after last week.

He was clearly gutted at how it had gone. He was apparently injured as well. She was giving him sympathy that is all.

There are always some who like to see more than there is to see.
Pfft .They are getting the excuses in early then .
He messed it up, simple as that .
Maybe his mind was elsewhere when he had gorgeous Aliona in his embrace .

Much as I would like them to be a couple (I ship them desperately) they're both attached. He was obviously very upset, and she was comforting him.

People have opinions and they are free to post them.
Yes they do, and yet you do not like it when people post negative comments about your favourites.

However, you are quite happy to start a thread which is bound to attract lots of negative speculation, on a topic which is already being covered on another thread?

I see that as double standards.

If they were having an affair, do you really think they'd be nibbling each other's neck in the Clauditorium?

Not your favourites I take it..............
Some people are WAY too invested in an entertainment show.

Apparently he is the Golden Child and the 'pet' and therefore naughty thoughts or deeds are beneath him .
He and Aliona openly canoodling gives me the boke . Her husband must be mortified .

And most idiotic thread of the night goes to....

For fecks sake, her husband was quite clearly in the audience with the other family members and celebs, no they are not involved in any other way than friends and dancing partners. It is the first time he has mucked up and obviously needed some encouragement and consolation.
