I do think that any celebrities pulling out superb dances early on in the competition will end up with added pressure in subsequent weeks to reach or surpass the benchmark set by that dance. From experience, after watching her in her other partnerships, I just think that Aliona is a very tactile person that's all . I distinctly remember her being so comforting like she was tonight towards Matt Baker after their salsa (where the judges absolutely grilled him ; yes I am still a bit pissed about that lol ) .
She used to be a bit like that with Matt Baker....people were speculating as well and at times getting nasty towards her because they thought her behavior might have been disrespectful towards his other half....but nah...people are just reading too much into it

Totally agree - he was obviously upset and in fairness to him he made no excuses nor mentioned his knee injury - he comes across as a lovely guy and was under pressure to follow up on last week's performance while also having to deal with tabloid rubbish. Kirsty complained about the music, the judges scores and was quite annoying.
