I don't get why the panel always rate her so highly.

I thought Anita was under marked. Might have just been because she was on first, but I was surprised her comments weren't better as well. I know nothing about either dance, and I like both women, but I thought Anita's dance looked better than Helen's, or more enjoyable to watch.

I'm genuinely interested to know why you think this is the case, as I have her as undermarked. Personal taste and all that, 'tis cool, but I'm just a bit flummoxed - swivel, tricks, characterisation, that's what I look for in a Strictly Charleston, and she had them in spades.

I personally feel this series so far Anita & Gleb and Georgia & Givanni have been consistently undermarked

Anita has been under marked all series in my opinion, and the judges have been picky with her dancing too.

Rather odd when she doesn't appear to have had any kind of formal training.

Undermarked - Anita, Georgia, Carol

Overmarked - Kellie, Peter

As far as I can see so far Jamelia can't do anything but the "sexy"/"booty shaking" type of dancing which is much the same as what she does in her day job. We need to see what she does with a waltz (sorry," walss" ) or American Smooth...

I agree. Its not just the one off dance - I've enjoyed all of their dances and they've both been stand out for me - in terms of dance, performance, enthusiasm and partnership. Yet their marks are always less than I would expect for them, and this becomes even more noticeable when I see the marks they go on to give others in comparison (Jeremy and Pete are two examples)

I think it's all production team influenced, they couldn't care less about the viewers, it's all for ratings.

I thought Anita was undermarked and Jay definitely was. Yes, he went wrong but his dancing was still better than most of the others

I agree with posters who say Anita, Georgia and Jay were undermarked. Why are Peter and Helen always overmarked?. Anita has had no dance training and to give the performance that she gives deserved more. Is Georgia undermarked because she is pretty? Is Jay undermarked because the judges want Peter to win? Who knows what goes on in their minds.

The judges probably get instructed by the production staff to mark in a way to encourage us to watch more if it makes sense.

The favouritism offered to Pete is turning me off. If he is on last next week I will skip the end dance. Good on Anita to do so well even though she was first on.

For once, I thought the marking was pretty fair all night from the judges, which I was pleased to see. In my opinion, though:

Jay was definitely undermarked by a couple of points.
Anita and Georgia both also deserved an extra mark or two.
Daniel and Jeremy were both a little overmarked.
Katie and Peter, though they did well, were slightly overmarked as well.
Everyone else was marked fairly accurately.

Quite a few on the same level.
I think that Katie deserved her position on the top of the leaderboard.

under-marked - kelly
over-marked - jamelia”

I too thought Katie should have been top of the leader board. She was terrific.

I think Peter, Jamelia and Carol were overmarked.

Jay, Georgia and Kelly were undermarked.

Yes, forgot to add Anita to my undermarked list.

I also agree with the poster - if Peter is in the final week, I'm giving Strictly a big miss. He seems to always go to the end of the program, gets consistently overmarked and always has 'the Humble routine'. I used to work in a theatre where Peter was appearing and believe me he isn't as nice as he makes out.

I thought it was Carol's best dance, thought they were harsh. Certainly better than Kirsty's paso doble, at least Carol and Pasha both looked the part

He is this year's pixie lott for sure, we'll see through the judges and production team cynicism by eliminating him, he just seems big headed to me.

I thought Carol was a bit undermarked. Their dance wasn't amazing but it was a vast improvement on the dances they have done before, it looked like a proper dance! They deserves a little bit more than they got in terms of marks.

Agreed, all the other dances were marked correctly imho but Carol did deserve a bit more (only Craig scored her higher then Kirsty )

I thought Anita was under-marked and the judges' comments unduly critical. One of the best routines I thought. Certainly better than Jamelia.
